With the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)characterizing "whole book reading" as a learning task group,the necessity and importance of the whole book reading has been further demonstrated.The whole book is long,with many elements and large amount of information,which can cultivate students’ core Chinese literacy in an all-round way,but it is also a major problem in current reading teaching.The number of whole books involved in junior high school is large and the categories are rich.How to teach different types of whole books? It is an effective research path to study the reading strategies of different categories of the whole book from the perspective of genre,and to achieve the purpose of reading from "reading a book" to "reading a class of books".Based on this,this study aims at cultivating students’ core Chinese literacy,combines the positioning of the whole book reading teaching of Biography of Celebrities,carries out an integrated,type-based and task-driven strategy research on the reading teaching of the whole book of Biography of Celebrities,designs and implements the whole book reading teaching plan of Biography of Celebrities,and tries to provide reference for the Chinese teachers in front-line middle schools to successfully carry out the whole book reading teaching of Biography.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part clarifies the reason for selecting the topic and the significance of the research,defines the important concepts after summarizing the existing relevant research,and determines the research ideas,research contents and research methods,and finally introduces the highlights and innovations of the research.The text consists of four chapters.The first chapter constructs the teaching framework of the biographical book "Biography of Celebrities" according to the new curriculum standard of free education and the current unified edition of junior high school textbooks,combs and refines the reading value,and makes the orientation of "whole-book,type-based and task-driven".The second chapter formulates the teaching strategy of the biographical book "Biography of Celebrities" from three perspectives: implementing the whole-book guide of "Biography of Celebrities",promoting the type-based guide of "Biography of Celebrities",and realizing the task-driven guide of "Biography of Celebrities".The third chapter designs the teaching of "Biography of Celebrities" based on the goal of cultivating students’ core Chinese literacy,which is divided into three classes: pre-reading guide class,in-reading guidance class and post-reading communication class.The fourth chapter implements the teaching of reading the whole book of "Biography of Celebrities" and summarizes the relevant situation,and finally makes teaching reflection and puts forward targeted improvement suggestions.The conclusion part summarizes the significance and value of the teaching research of the whole book "Biography of Celebrities" in junior high school biographies.
