Secondary Schools To The National Folk Music Teaching In The Region

School music education should be firmly established on the basis of ethnic music. To carry out ethnic music teaching is the only way to guide students into the music world, to develop students who love folk music, to inherite traditional music culture of the nation. Sichuan province is an important province in the southwestern of china,with multi-ethnics and rich in ethnic folk music. How to carry out national music teaching in middle school based on folk music is an important issue in our province.The study took the new curriculum as the guidline,We investigated the status of Chinese folk music teaching in different middle schools and analyzed the causes in Chengdu,We improved teaching strategies and class instruction and analysised the conduct effectiveness. We discussed the topics in five parts: 1, the status and the reasons of the current middle schools Chinese folk music teaching; 2,The importance of folk music teaching in middle school;3, Exploring the teaching strategies of carrying out ethnic folk music in middle school;4,Exploring how to carry out the folk music teaching in the middle School in Sichuan province;5, analysis the effectiveness of folk music teaching in middle School.Through the study of this topic, we found there are still a lot of deficiencies in the folk music teaching in the middle school, characterized by inadequate attention by schools and the students knowing little of the ethnic folk music and lack of interest. It will enhance the understanding of folk music, and increase the love of this culture to inspire the patriotic sentiment of the students when the cultivating interest and aesthetic education are closely linked in the course of teaching. We will continuous explore how to carry out folk music teaching better in the middle school.
