| With the extension of population life expectancy and the decrease in the proportion of newborns,China will gradually enter an aging era.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that "we should implement a strategy to actively respond to population aging and promote the realization of basic elderly care services for all elderly people." Currently,the phenomenon of population aging in China is intensifying,the proportion of the elderly population is constantly increasing,and elderly people have higher service requirements for quality of life.Home-based elderly care services can allow more elderly people to enjoy low-cost,wide coverage,and high efficiency services.As a new type of future elderly care service model,it not only conforms to the traditional concepts of the elderly,but also meets the physical and mental needs of the elderly.It is currently a popular elderly care service model adopted by Chinese families.In this context,this study selects elderly people aged 60 and above in M community of Jinan City as the research object,and uses community care theory and welfare pluralism theory as theoretical perspectives to study home care services for elderly people in M community of Jinan City.A questionnaire survey was conducted in two rounds to investigate the elderly care services in M community.Participatory observation and semi-structured interview methods were used to conduct close interviews and interactions with the elderly,children,service personnel,and other relevant staff in M community.Firstly,summarize and summarize the basic situation of M community,the basic situation of the elderly,the objects of home care services,service methods and contents,service hours and fees,service procedures,and other information;Secondly,analyze the current supply and demand situation of home-based elderly care services based on the supply and demand entities and content.This study found that the problems faced by the elderly in M community of Jinan City in the process of home care services are mainly reflected in the inadequate service system and a shortage of investment funds;Inadequate community promotion and guidance;Lack of professional community caregivers and inability to meet the needs of the elderly;The supporting facilities of the center are incomplete,and the service methods and content are monotonous.In order to further improve the quality and level of elderly care services in M community of Jinan City,and further analyze the causes of the problem of elderly home care services in M community of Jinan City through community care theory and welfare pluralism theory.Finally,based on the theory of community care,solutions are proposed from three dimensions: formal resource government level,elderly care service center level,and informal resource community level.From the government level,government policy support is strengthened and investment channels are expanded;At the level of elderly care service centers,strengthen professional skill training,update elderly care service facilities,provide customized services,and expand rich and diverse service content;At the community level,improve publicity methods,enhance social interaction,establish community health service centers,and popularize the concept of home based elderly care services to promote the development of M community home based elderly care services in Jinan City and improve China’s home based elderly care service system.And ultimately,more elderly people can truly enjoy high-quality home care services in their familiar environment,and spend a peaceful and happy old age. |
