| In the 14 th Five-Year Plan,it is clearly stated that China will open up to the outside world at a high level and speed up the formation of a new development pattern in which domestic major cycle is the main body and domestic and international cycles are mutually reinforcing.The establishment of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)will bring great opportunities and expand space for China to pursue high-level opening-up.The establishment of RCEP is of great significance to Yunnan’s development as a radiation center in South Asia and Southeast Asia.Therefore,Yunnan Province should seize the opportunity of RCEP,actively serve and integrate into the construction of RCEP,strive to become a radiating center facing South Asia and Southeast Asia,promote the development of foreign trade,build a new pattern of open economic development,and promote Yunnan Province to become a strategic link between the strong domestic market and the international market in South Asia and Southeast Asia.Through the review of previous literature,it is found that the current literature on export trade structure based on product space theory mainly focuses on the national level.However,due to the differences of provinces,the overall study from the national level will lead to the deviation of the research results.At the same time,due to the diversification of RCEP member states and the differences of Yunnan’s export commodities to various countries,there are few literatures on Yunnan’s integration into RCEP construction from the perspective of commodity heterogeneity and regional heterogeneity.Therefore,this paper analyzes the impact of human capital on the trade structure of exporting RCEP countries in Yunnan Province based on the product space theory.First,the product space network and the spatial difference chart are constructed based on the product space theory index.It is found that the number of products with explicit comparative advantage index and the export technical complexity of products are increasing year by year.It shows that the export trade between Yunnan Province and RCEP countries has certain development potential.Secondly,from the different perspectives of overall,commodity heterogeneity and regional heterogeneity,this paper conducts an empirical study to test the influence of human capital on export trade structure.Finally,the mediation effect model and threshold model are used to test the mechanism of human capital in Yunnan Province on its export RCEP trade structure.The results show that:(1)In general,human capital significantly promotes the export trade structure of Yunnan Province to RCEP countries;(2)In terms of commodities,the human capital of Yunnan Province has a positive moderating effect on the export of primary products and low-technology industrial manufactured goods to RCEP countries,while a negative moderating effect on the export of high-technology industrial manufactured goods.(3)From the perspective of subregion,human capital can significantly promote the upgrade of Yunnan Province’s export trade structure to the developed countries among the 14 RCEP countries,but has an inhibitory effect on Yunnan Province’s export trade structure to the less developed countries among the 14 RCEP countries.Finally,this paper further constructs the intermediary effect model and threshold effect model to test the mechanism of human capital’s influence on Yunnan Province’s export trade structure to RCEP countries.It is found that human capital can promote Yunnan Province’s export trade structure to RCEP countries by attracting foreign direct investment,but the effect of technological innovation and industrial structure is negative.Threshold test is further conducted.It is found that the influence of human capital on export trade structure through technological innovation level,foreign direct investment and industrial structure all has nonlinear effect.After crossing the corresponding threshold,the influence of human capital on export trade structure upgrading will be promoted. |
