With the reform and development of college physical education,we are constantly optimizing the process of basketball teaching.Among them,the teaching model,as the intermediary between teaching theory and practice,has been paid more and more attention.At present,the research on teaching mode is increasing year by year.In order to meet the practical needs of talent training objectives in colleges and universities,it is imperative to explore new teaching models.As a new teaching mode,the "5E" teaching mode is characterized by that teachers can build the system and technology of students’ self-knowledge,stimulate students’ interest,promote students’ active participation and exploration,and improve the original teaching mode by inspiring students,guiding students to learn and inserting concepts.This study adopts the research methods of literature,questionnaire,expert interview,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics,and combines the characteristics of the current college basketball class,selects two classes of the public sports basketball optional course of Yunnan Normal University as the experimental objects,and carries out a 12-week(24 class hours)teaching experiment study.The experimental class uses the "5E" teaching mode,while the control class uses the traditional teaching mode,To verify the teaching effect of applying the "5E" teaching mode in college basketball public sports basketball teaching,the conclusions are as follows:(1)The "5E" teaching mode and the traditional teaching mode have good effects on improving the speed,quality and explosive quality of college students.Compared with the traditional teaching mode,the "5E" teaching mode does not show better improvement effect.(2)The "5E" teaching mode has a good teaching effect on promoting college students’ interest in sports learning.The traditional teaching mode has good teaching effect on the negative and positive dimensions of students’ interest in sports learning.Compared with the traditional teaching mode,the "5E" teaching mode has a better teaching effect in promoting college students’ interest in sports learning.(3)Both the "5E" teaching mode and the traditional teaching mode have good teaching effects on improving college students’ basketball skills.Compared with the traditional teaching mode,the "5E" teaching mode has a better teaching effect in promoting college students’ basketball skills.(4)The "5E" teaching model can well mobilize students’ enthusiasm and initiative for classroom learning and stimulate students’ interest in learning.Most students believe that the "5E" teaching model has played a significant role in improving students’ learning effect.The "5E" teaching model has a high evaluation of learning effect and has been recognized by many students.
