Mixed teaching mode is a combination of traditional teaching and network information technology auxiliary teaching. This mode since the late 20 th century, with the rapid development of information technology and popularization, all kinds of new technology tools and equipment continuously into the school and applied to the teaching work,to introduce new teaching mode.Schools are changing their teaching methods and organizational forms, and new requirements are being put forward for teachers' teaching.Basketball sport is an important part of college public physical education teaching, how to effectively stimulate students interest in learning basketball, promote students moral,intellectual,physical,all-round development is a problem worthy of thinking deeply. At present, the traditional multimedia technology applied in basketball teaching theory research and practical exploration has certain results, for the use of network teaching in the use of modern media tools research is also imperfect. In this way,the application of the mixed teaching model in the teaching of public sports basketball in colleges and universities can provide theoretical basis and reference for the network teaching platform to better assist the learning of other sports courses. This study through the literature material law, questionnaire investigation, teaching experiment, mathematical statistics and other research methods, using mixed teaching model in applied research of the public sports basketball teaching in colleges and universities for empirical research. The experimental object is the 2017 public sports basketball option class of yunnan normal university, from which students from two classes are randomly selected for the teaching experiment. There are 34 people in each class,68 in total. The teaching method adopted by the experimental class is to use the mixed teaching mode for teaching, and the comparison class USES the traditional teaching mode for teaching. The results show that:1,using the mixed mode teaching, the experimental classes and that in comparative classes in terms of physical quality analysis: experimental classes boys in vital capacity in succession, crook proneness,50 m and 1000 m have differences, girl's physical quality is no significant difference; There was no significant difference between boys and girls in the control class.2,using mixed teaching mode, experimental classes and that in comparative classes in basketball skills analysis: the experimental class boys and girls in 60 seconds,full-court dribbling, shooting layups, actual combat skills have increased significantly; The comparison class has improved the ability of shooting in 60 seconds, dribbling the ball and layup, but it is not obvious in the experimental class.3,using mixed teaching mode, experimental classes in physical education learning interest in five dimensions were analyzed, and the experimental class the boy active interest in sports learning, autonomy and inquiry learning, the attention to sports, there is obvious difference in three dimensions, the girl active interest in sports learning, two dimensions have significant differences in participation. There are differences between male and female students in three dimensions of active interest, independent and exploratory learning, and attention to sports in the control class, but there are no obvious differences in the experimental class.Through the above the conclusion: the mixed teaching mode applied in public sports basketball teaching in colleges and universities, can effectively improve students' physical qualities, skills, students' autonomy and to explore the learning ability have been improved effectively, and give full play to the subjective initiative.
