The learning task group of "Practical reading and communication" is a brand new concept put forward in the Chinese Curriculum Standards for General High School(2017 Edition,2020 revision).The learning task group aims to guide students to learn practical articles,improve their reading and communication level,and enhance their ability to adapt to and serve the society.Popular science article is an important category of practical style,which also occupies a large proportion in the content of high school Chinese course.However,it has long existed the problem of low teaching efficiency,which has become the "bottleneck" of high school Chinese teaching.Aiming at the current teaching situation and existing problems of popular science articles in high school,the author takes the teaching of popular science articles under the task group of "practical reading and communication" as an example,takes the action research method as the main research method,and combines the methods of questionnaire survey,interview,case analysis and other educational scientific research methods to actively explore the effective strategies to improve the teaching of popular science articles in high school.This paper tries to discuss the teaching of popular science articles in high school under the task group of "practical reading and communication",and puts forward targeted teaching strategies of popular science articles in high school,so as to improve the teaching of popular science articles in high school,enhance the teaching efficiency of popular science articles,improve students’ interest in reading popular science articles,develop students’ scientific thinking,and enhance students’ core literacy of Chinese.The introduction part of this paper describes the reason for the topic selection,the purpose and significance of the research,expounds the theoretical basis of the research on the basis of the relevant literature review,determines the starting point of the research,and defines the research ideas and methods.In the main part of this paper,the purpose and value of teaching popular science articles in high school under the task group of "practical reading and communication" are discussed,and the problems reflected in the teaching of popular science articles in high school are analyzed by sorting out the relevant information of the questionnaires issued.At the student level,the problem shows that they are not interested in learning popular science,Lack of knowledge of popular science articles,Lack of proper reading methods.At the teacher level,the problems are not clear teaching objectives,Inappropriate teaching content,Teaching methods are not flexible,Teaching evaluation is not perfect,Teachers lack theoretical knowledge.Based on the theoretical framework and practical problems of the research,the process of three rounds of interrelated action research is designed and presented,and the results of each round of action research are presented and analyzed with specific lessons as the carrier.Finally,based on the action research,the teaching strategy of improving popular science articles in high school is put forward: accurate positioning of teaching objectives;Appropriate choice of teaching content;Flexible use of teaching methods;Attach importance to improving teaching evaluation;Strengthen the study of scientific theoretical knowledge.In the conclusion part of the paper,the shortcomings of the action research are summarized and the follow-up research is prospected.
