The "Physics Curriculum Standard for General Senior High School(2017 Edition and 2020 Revision)" proposes that high school physics curriculum should guide students to experience scientific research methods and develop scientific thinking habits.As a reflection and concrete manifestation of scientific thinking,scientific method education can greatly enhance the level of scientific thinking of students.Through the front-line teaching observation,in the teaching of physics exercises in high schools,there are problems such as teachers’ "problem solving tactics" and students’ inability to solve problems,which is the reflection of teachers’ failure to consider scientific method education in the design and teaching process of exercises.Based on the above questions,according to the relevant research and teaching practice,it was found that exercises teaching based on scientific methods can play a positive role in effectively improving teaching quality and developing students’ thinking abilities.Therefore,the research topic was determined: A Study on Teaching Strategies Based on Scientific Methods for High School Mechanics Exercises.Through studying literature and combining with teaching practice,in response to the practical confusion in exercise teaching,under the guidance of metacognitive theory,constructivism theory,and scientific method theory,combined with curriculum standards,this paper analyzed the characteristics of high school mechanics exercises,and initially proposed a strategy for teaching high school mechanics exercise based on scientific methods.Using the initially proposed teaching strategies,we designed teaching examples for the comprehensive application of Newton’s laws of motion,the synthesis and decomposition of motion,and the classical problems of circular motion in high school physics in the People’s Education Edition.We conducted teaching practice in Gansu X High School.Through surveys and interviews,we tested the effectiveness of the teaching strategies,and found that these teaching strategies can effectively help students clarify their problem-solving ideas and improve learning efficiency,and enhance students’ ability to solve physical problems.Based on the testing results of preliminary strategy,practical experience and relevant theories,this paper further improved the teaching strategies for high school mechanics exercises based on scientific methods: situation problem strategy,model abstract strategy,equation method strategy,method multiple strategy,method reflection strategy,and proposed suggestions for the application of corresponding strategies.Finally,reflections and outlooks are made.The teaching strategy of high school mechanics exercises based on scientific methods studied in this paper can effectively provide reference for improving the quality of high school physics exercises teaching,as well as for high school mechanics exercises teaching.At the same time,it also has certain reference value for high school students’ scientific method education.
