Data literacy is an important component of teacher literacy.As future teachers,normal school students’ data literacy training objectives should be consistent with teacher data literacy requirements.Data literacy is a relatively complex ability that cannot be effectively cultivated by conventional teaching methods(lectures,online courses,and simple lectures).As an evaluation method suitable for the cultivation of complex ability literacy,performance evaluation provides new ideas and methods for cultivating normal school students’ data literacy.Therefore,the research attempts to apply performance evaluation to the cultivation of normal school students’ data literacy,and designs a performance evaluation design framework for the cultivation of normal school students’ data literacy,providing tool support for the application of performance evaluation to the cultivation of normal school students’ data literacy.At the same time,it also provides new ideas for the cultivation of other literacy and complex abilities.This study uses literature research,design based research,quasi experimental research,and survey research methods to conduct research.On the basis of analyzing the feasibility of cultivating normal school students’ data literacy based on performance evaluation and the relevant elements of performance evaluation for cultivating normal school students’ data literacy,combined with theoretical guidance,it constructs a performance evaluation design framework for normal school students’ data literacy cultivation.The framework includes four aspects: macro design principles,performance evaluation design process,micro design principles,and specific work.The macro design principles are used to ensure the scientificity of the entire performance evaluation design,the performance evaluation design process is used to explain the design process of performance evaluation,and the micro design principles specify the matters that should be paid attention to in each link of performance evaluation design,The specific work section includes a description of each link of the performance evaluation design process.In addition,logical steps for data analysis are embedded in the performance evaluation design process.Finally,research and design performance evaluation cases for data literacy cultivation of normal school students based on the framework,and conduct practical research.In practice,a combination of design based research and interview methods is used to conduct multiple rounds of revision and iteration of the framework,forming a scientific and operable performance evaluation design framework for data literacy cultivation of normal school students,A quasi experimental study was used to verify the effect of performance evaluation on the cultivation of data literacy of normal school students.The practical results show that the performance evaluation design framework designed in the research for data literacy cultivation of normal university students is effective and operable,and can effectively help teachers design and cultivate performance evaluations for data literacy of normal university students conveniently and efficiently.Teaching based on performance evaluations for data literacy cultivation of normal university students can significantly improve the level of data literacy of normal university students.
