| In recent years,with the rapid development of biomedical technology,biomedical industry has played an increasingly important role in China’s economic development.It was identified as one of the seven strategic emerging industries by the government as early as the "12th Five-Year Plan" period.In 2019,Suzhou biomedical industrial cluster was listed in the first batch of national strategic emerging industrial cluster construction projects.Biomedical industry is not only one of the four leading industries in Suzhou,but also the officially designated "No.1 industry" by Suzhou Municipal Party Committee and Suzhou Municipal People’s Government.As a typical knowledge-intensive technology industry,talent resources are needed as strong support for the growth of industry.In order to effectively strengthen the Suzhou biomedical industry and achieve the ambitious goal of building "Chinese Pharma Valley",it is crucial to do a good job in talent introduction in this industry.Based on the definition and explanation of concepts and related theories of biomedical industry and talents,starting from the current situation of talent introduction,the paper systematically reviews the policies,characteristic and actual results of talent introduction in Suzhou biomedical industry,and finds that although the number of biomedical talents in Suzhou has shown an upward trend in recent years.However,with the rapid development of the biomedical industry in Suzhou,the biomedical industry still has the largest number of talent shortages and shortage of majors in the Key Industry Talent Shortage Catalogue released by Suzhou in 2021.In order to effectively solve the problem of talent shortage in the biomedical industry,using the approach of quantitative and qualitative analysis,the paper summarizes the main problems in the talent introduction of Suzhou biomedical industry,including the short-term trend,the low coverage of policy,the imbalanced structure,the limited channels for talent introduction and the liquidity risk after talent introduction.Then this paper discusses the reasons for these problems from the aspects of planning,attraction,system and platform of biomedical talent introduction in Suzhou.Furthermore,drawing on the domestic and international experiences in biomedical talent introduction,the paper has put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the introduction of biomedical talents in Suzhou,including strategic positioning of talent introduction,shaping the image of talent introduction,improving talent introduction systems,and building talent introduction platforms. |
