China Education Modernization 2035 points out that promoting education modernization requires cultivating patriotism,strengthening moral cultivation,cultivating a spirit of struggle,and continuously improving students’ ideological level,political consciousness,and moral quality.We should pay more attention to putting morality first,integrating knowledge and action,and paying more attention to comprehensive development.In the traditional high school physical education classroom teaching mode,it often only focuses on learning sports skills and knowledge,while neglecting the rich ideological and political elements contained in sports,and failing to fully utilize the advantages and roles of sports people and the implicit educational functions contained in sports skills and knowledge.Implementing ideological and political education in curriculum is a strategic measure to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating talents.By carrying out ideological and political education in high school physical education curriculum,it is of great significance to improve students’ ideological and political qualities,promote their comprehensive development,and promote the reform and innovation of high school physical education teaching.Through literature review,interviews,questionnaires,teaching experiments,observation,mathematical statistics and other research methods,this study understands the current situation of ideological and political teaching in high school physical education curriculum from the perspective of educators and educatees.On this basis,the teaching design of ideological and political education in high school physical education courses is carried out,establishing the teaching design principles and goals of ideological and political education in high school physical education courses.The rich ideological and political elements contained in high school physical education courses are deeply explored,and suitable integration methods are found.At the same time,basketball is used as an example to apply the ideological and political education design in high school physical education courses and test the effectiveness of the implementation of the ideological and political education design in high school physical education courses.Through the analysis of interview results,questionnaire survey results,teaching experiment results,and classroom observation results,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)At present,the practice of ideological and political education in high school physical education courses is in the initial stage,and teachers and students have insufficient understanding of the ideological and political education in the courses.Teachers lack systematic and planned integration of ideological and political elements in teaching design,and the frequency of ideological and political education in physical education classroom teaching is relatively low,resulting in poor effectiveness of students receiving ideological and political education in physical education classroom.(2)According to the teaching experiment results,there is a significant difference(p<0.05)in the level of ideological and political literacy between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment,and the average value of the experimental group is greater than the average value of the control group.The design of ideological and political education in high school physical education courses has a better effect on improving ideological and political literacy compared to traditional physical education teaching designs.(3)In terms of basketball technical level,there was a significant improvement(p<0.05)in both the control group and the experimental group before and after the experiment.There was no significant difference(p>0.05)in the basketball technical level between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment.Therefore,it can be seen that the ideological and political education design of high school physical education curriculum can significantly improve students’ basketball technical level,and has the same effect as traditional high school physical education teaching design.(4)By comparing the classroom observation data before and after the experiment in the experimental class,the average values of the nine dimensions of classroom observation have been improved to varying degrees.This indicates that the ideological and moral behavior performance of the experimental class students after the experiment is better than before.The practice of designing ideological and political teaching in high school physical education courses has a certain promoting effect on students’ ideological and moral behavior.
