The Study Of The Role Of Grassroots Power In The Advancement And Cultivation Of Diabolo Culture Within The City Of Luoyang

Research Objective: With the substantial growth of the national fitness movement in China,Diabolo,a traditional folk sport,has evolved into a popular fitness entertainment leisure project in people’s lives attributed to its fitness,entertainment,performance,amusement,and festivity.In recent years,Luoyang City,Henan Province,has developed a relatively enthusiastic Diabolo sports program,which has shown a good foundation of the public,novel pattern skills,standardized organization of associations,and abundant activities of the tournament,which has been valued by the local government and favored by the public.The development of Luoyang’s Diabolo culture is not only closely related to its development history,but also cannot be separated from the support of the government policy in the context of the “healthy China” and “national fitness”,in which the spontaneous power of the folk and the desire to develop and innovate are the most fundamental driving force.This paper investigated that how the grassroots power of the folk promotes and develops Luoyang’s Diabolo culture,aiming to achieve better protection,inheritance and development of traditional Diabolo culture and better serve the undertaking of national fitness movement in China.Research Methods: This study adopts grassroots power as the research object,and employs literature,interviews,and observations to evaluate its impact on the promotion and development of Luoyang’s Diabolo culture.The study includes the investigation of how the grassroots force has contributed to the emergence and promotion of Luoyang’s Diabolo culture,the construction of Diabolo associations,the promotion of Diabolo tournaments,the development and growth of the Diabolo industry,and the role played by the grassroots force in the evolution of Diabolo.Research Results: The findings of the study show that in the early stages,beginning in 1996,the grassroots power,represented by Mr.Li Haoxin,brought Diabolo back to Luoyang from zhengzhou.He relied on the growth of senior citizen and student Diabolo associations to promote the emergence of the Diabolo movement,the establishment of Diabolo clubs and tournaments,the production of Diabolo equipment,and more importantly promoted it through folklore festivals.Since 2012,the grassroots power embodied by the "Three Diabolo Masters of Luoyang" has dedicated to the establishment and growth of Diabolo associations at all levels,as well as the expansion of air Diabolo-related businesses.This demonstrates the fundamental impact of grassroots power on the development of Diabolo culture in Luoyang.Research Conclusion: Through the empirical evidence of the research on the promotion and development of Luoyang’s Diabolo culture,it can be concluded that the development of Luoyang’s Diabolo sport is well-known nationwide not only because of the positive national policy and the support of the local government,but also because of the fundamental role played by the grassroots power of the public,which has made Luoyang’s Diabolo culture well promoted and developed.It can be argued that the grassroots force has contributed to the development of Luoyang’s Diabolo culture in the leading position in the province and even throughout China,cultivating a group of Diabolo enthusiasts represented by the " Three Diabolo Masters of Luoyang",and under their promotion,eventually achieving the protection,inheritance and development of Luoyang’s Diabolo culture,making a significant impact to the development of national fitness in China.
