| Leisure is an important part of people’s life in today’s society.With the increase in leisure time and the rise in income levels,leisure is becoming a growing need of people for a better life.Under this background,sports and leisure industry and sports and leisure activities has gradually entered the public’s field of vision.Nowadays,the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is striving to become an international first-class Bay area and a world-class city cluster,the integrated development of sports and leisure resources will become an important part in it,and it is worth exploring in depth that how to promote the integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area.The purpose of this study is to sort out the logic of the integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area,analyse the mechanism of the integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area,and explore the path of the integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area.This study takes the integrated development path of sports and leisure resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as the research theme,and takes the 9+2 cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area sports and leisure resources as the research object,comprehensively using the literature method,interview method,fieldwork method and case study method.This study concentrates on the sports and leisure resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,sorts out the historical logic,theoretical logic and practical logic of integrated development,analyses the bases,dynamics,modes and processes of integrated development,proposes the objectives and ideas of integrated development,and explores the path of reforming institutional mechanisms,building cooperative platforms,digitalization and the 2025 National Games to promote the integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area.The findings of the study found that:First,since the Reform and Opening Up,the integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has gone through 3 stages,including after the Reform and Opening Up and before the Hong Kong and Macao Reunification,after the Hong Kong and Macao Reunification,and the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,generally forming a development approach that combines top-down and bottom-up approaches.The integrated development of sports and leisure infrastructure,events,natural,cultural and policy resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has gradually begun.However,there are still issues such as institutional differences,ideological and cultural differences,imbalanced distribution of resources,inter-city competition and benefits,and the lack of in-depth cooperation in sports and leisure that need to be solved.Second,the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area sports and leisure resources have the correlation,digitalization and cooperation foundation.Industrial characteristics,residents’ demand,policy environment and economic development are the driving forces for the integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area,which follows the model of resource integration,resource restructuring and digital technology penetration,and through a process of resource grooming,resource identification and resource development.Third,the integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area aims to share sports and leisure infrastructure,enhance the experience of sports and leisure events,share sports and leisure natural resources,exchange and mutual learning of sports and leisure culture,and gradually eliminate institutional differences among the three places.Combining interview contents and relevant theories,the Greater Bay Area should promote the reform of the institutional mechanism of sports and leisure,innovate the cooperative platform of sports and leisure resources,empower the interchange of sports and leisure resources through digitalization,and guide the sharing of sports and leisure resources through the 15 th National Games.Fourth,the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area promotes the integrated development of sports and leisure resources by reforming the institutional mechanism,mainly through breaking down the interoperability partition of the institutional mechanism of sports and leisure in the Greater Bay Area,innovating the institution of integrated development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area,and exploring the judicial cooperation and dispute resolution mechanism among Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.Fifth,the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area promotes the integrated development of sports and leisure resources by building a cooperative platform,mainly through building a platform for sports and leisure exchanges and cooperation,establishing a platform for sports and leisure industrial innovation and improving a platform for sports and leisure government services.Sixth,the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area promotes the integrated development of sports and leisure resources by enhancing digital applications,mainly through optimizing the spatial layout of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area,building a smart event system for sports and leisure in the Greater Bay Area and promoting digital sports and leisure cultural exchange in the Greater Bay Area.Seventh,the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area promotes the integrated development of sports and leisure resources by co-hosting the 2025 National Games,mainly through forming a situation of staggered development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area,coordinating the interconnection of sports and leisure resources elements in the Greater Bay Area and creating a model of linkage development of sports and leisure resources in the Greater Bay Area.Eighth,the digitalization of the Yangtze River Delta,the UEFA Euro 2020,the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 and the integrated development of horse racing resources in Guangzhou and Hong Kong are typical examples of the integrated development of regional sports and leisure resources,which provide useful insights for this study by analysing the background and initiatives of the cases. |
