With the development of contemporary information infrastructure and the strengthening of information integration and integration capabilities,network platforms have risen strongly,binding people and data together,and using this as a basis to quickly seize digital capital,users have been alienated into digital labor.As a super node connecting employers and students,online recruitment platforms provide information channels for both parties through their full process and multi-dimensional services,but at the same time erode the rights of both parties and become the center of campus recruitment and dissemination activities.Therefore,this study views campus recruitment as a window to observe the communication behavior of online recruitment platforms,attempting to examine the roles and behaviors of online recruitment platforms,employers,and students in campus recruitment communication activities.From the perspective of platform society,it is necessary to consider how the dissemination mechanism of online recruitment platforms puts the platform at the center of communication,where are the boundaries of communication power of online recruitment platforms,and how they should be regulated.On the basis of participatory observation,this study was supplemented by in-depth interviews and textual research,with S,a well-known service provider for campus recruitment in China,as the participant observation object.The in-depth interviews were conducted on the top three online recruitment platforms in campus recruitment-Q,Z,S,as well as multiple human resources managers,and a large amount of detailed first-hand information was obtained.Research has found that online recruitment platforms have gradually become involved in campus recruitment since 1997 and have become the center of campus recruitment information dissemination to this day.The online recruitment platform did not rely on its channel and data advantages to establish a free communication channel between applicants and employers.Instead,it deviated from its proper intermediary position and formed an unequal transmission relationship with employers and applicants,which undermines the rights and interests of employers and applicants.In view of this,this paper argues that online recruitment platforms must return to the intermediary position,focus on public services,and regulate campus recruitment communication behavior by complementing rule governance,technology governance and market constraints,and also need to optimize the existing platform ecology.
