With the continuous development of modern science and technology,people are demanding higher and higher living standards.In order to obtain better living,education and medical resources,a large number of rural people,especially migrant workers,pour into cities,there appeared a large number of floating population in the society.At first only adults moved to the cities,but later parents worried that the children,taking the children to their own side,would become family migration,this has led to a great number of migrant children.As a result of following the parents to live in a strange place,the environment,diet,learning and other aspects of the problems followed,migrant children and local people have great differences in language,psychology and economy,which lead to their inferiority,sensitivity,self-perception bias,peer group tension and so on,with the increasing number of floating children,the problem of their peer interaction is becoming more and more prominent,which has aroused the strong concern of all circles of society,especially the sociological circle.Before intervention,questionnaire survey,semi-structured interview and participant observation were used to find out the situation of social interaction among peer groups,the researcher combined with the authoritative scale to find out the social situation of the clients in the Peer Group,talk with the parents,classmates and teachers of the clients,collect the information about the clients indirectly,and understand their peer contacts.Through collecting data,we know that the clients have cognitive bias,low self-confidence,weak social initiative,weak social ability,less communication with peer groups,the researchers also learned that the participants had many advantages,such as a strong social desire and experience,a certain social ability,and a willingness to interact with them,In addition,the community can also link social work agencies to carry out group activities that are conducive to the healthy development of children.Based on the collected data,the researchers selected the dominant perspective theory and the solution-focused treatment model,and based on the professional perspective of social work,used the case work method to intervene the peer-group relationship of the clients,help clients improve group relations.By using the solution-focused therapy model in the interview process,the clients can express their own needs,and discover the clients’ past solutions and advantages,so as to help the clients to find effective solutions,in addition to working with clients to develop goals and plans;researchers also participate in group activities with clients during case work,not only to help clients learn communication skills,but also to increase the client and peer group communication experience,involvement in the pre-and post-use of questionnaires for teachers to measure Peer Group relations among students in the class to understand the situation of peer group relations among the clients,after the end of the case activities,through interviews,questionnaires and other methods to evaluate the target of the client and the degree of satisfaction with the case work.In addition,through interviews with members of the system to understand the clients and their peer group status changes.Based on the data collected above,it is found that after nearly two months of intervention,the client’s peer interaction ability,the acceptance level and the quality of peer group friendship have been improved.Finally,the author reflects on the intervention process,it is found that the application of social work theory and model in the study plays an important role in improving the status of migrant children’s peer group relations,it can provide the reference for other scholars to carry on the case work to intervene the improvement of migrant children’s peer group relations.
