| In recent years,Chinese poverty alleviation work has made decisive progress.The rural poor population has continued to decrease and the incidence of poverty has continued to drop.However,the poverty problem of rural women,especially young women,has not attracted attention.They generally have problems such as low levels of cultural knowledge and lack of employability,which restrict their own sustainable development and even bring the poverty of intergenerational transmission.With the theme of women’s poverty alleviation,this research conducted case intervention with women in L Village A of the national poverty-stricken county,and explored whether professional methods of social work can help rural young women to get rid of poverty.This study selects women A in L Village,Shanxi Province as the research object,and collects relevant data through observation and semi-structured interviews.It is found that women A’s poverty is mainly manifested in weak willingness to change,low education level,high difficulty in employment,low family income,and life.Five aspects of poor conditions,further analysis of the core reason is the lack of education.This estimated result provided support for the development of a targeted practical intervention plan.In the process of service,social workers help a women increase their willingness and confidence to get rid of poverty,and enhance their ability to get rid of poverty independently.First of all,through the introduction of network resources,strengthening peer communication and experiencing multiple scenarios,social workers lead the service objects to understand modern life,feel the value of social interaction,rekindle their enthusiasm for life,and strengthen their willingness to change the status quo.At the same time,narrative therapy is used to externalize their bad beliefs,reconstruct their spiritual world,and establish a woman’s belief in poverty alleviation.Secondly,social workers provide learning equipment,connect with public welfare teachers,strive for family support,and link basic educational resources for service objects.Through continuous learning to promote the service object culture,so that they have the ability to integrate into social life.Finally,social workers should cultivate their professional interest,tap their employment potential,carry out vocational skills training,stimulate their clients’ employment autonomy,and make them really have the ability to get rid of poverty.The evaluation results show that the sense of purpose of service objects increases,they are no longer closed and conservative,they have a more positive view of the future,and their negative mentality is alleviated.At the same time,the level of education,employment willingness and employability are improved.This study focuses on four aspects: service mode,value ethics,implementation process and practical role.In terms of service mode,the advantages and disadvantages of task centered mode coexist;in terms of value ethics,we should pay attention to the double relationship boundary in the process of service;in terms of methods and skills,we should reflect the comprehensive application of social work practical skills;in terms of practical roles,we should pay attention to the transformation of social workers’ roles in different stages.The research results show that in the poverty alleviation services for rural young women,social workers need to increase their willingness to alleviate poverty,establish their aspirations to alleviate poverty,improve their poverty alleviation capabilities,and strengthen their self-development capabilities,in order to finally achieve poverty alleviation.Through this case,a pre-established model for poverty alleviation was constructed with the aim of providing practical reference for the intervention of social work in targeted poverty alleviation. |
