The new round of curriculum reform directly affects the changes in education and teaching methods,requiring them to gradually approach modernization.Modern teaching can not only add color to the classroom,but also enable students to receive more comprehensive and rich knowledge,fully leverage the role of students as the main body,and improve the overall quality of education and teaching.At present,the focus of teaching research in China is shifting from simply teaching knowledge to cultivating abilities,and from overly focusing on results to focusing on processes.According to the actual situation of daily classroom teaching,adopting a diversified education model that distinguishes differences between students and emphasizes the development of students’ personalities to make up for the shortcomings of traditional education is becoming a new trend in China’s education model reform.The new curriculum standards emphasize the need to continuously improve students’ academic literacy,enhance their understanding of the subject of ideology and politics,and cultivate their abilities.Widely applying exploratory teaching methods in practical teaching processes can better meet this requirement.However,through investigation and research,it has been found that there are many problems in the practical application of exploratory teaching methods under the influence of various factors.This article also conducts the following four parts of research.The first part discusses the relevant concepts of inquiry based teaching in high school ideological and political courses,discusses the characteristics of inquiry based teaching,elaborates on the relevant theoretical basis for its implementation,and analyzes the principles of inquiry based teaching in the application process,providing a theoretical basis for this article.The second part explains the importance and feasibility of implementing exploratory teaching in high school ideological and political classes,analyzes the practical significance of this teaching method,and the current practical conditions required to integrate this teaching method into high school ideological and political classes.The third part aims to understand the application of exploratory teaching methods in high school ideological and political classrooms by distributing survey questionnaires to teachers and students.Based on the data obtained from the survey,the problems in the application process are identified and the reasons for the problems are analyzed,in order to better propose targeted solutions in the future.The fourth part mainly analyzes the specific strategies of exploratory teaching in high school ideological and political courses from three dimensions: school management,teachers,and students,combined with the actual situation.For example,schools should improve their infrastructure and provide corresponding training for teachers.Teachers themselves should continuously improve their teaching ability and ideological cultivation,while students should fully exert their subjective initiative and actively communicate and interact with teachers in the classroom.I hope that through this article,exploratory teaching methods can be better applied to high school ideological and political courses,providing new ideas and references for the future development of high school ideological and political courses.In the long run,the application of exploratory teaching still needs to be continuously improved.
