With the rapid increase of high school enrollment, the levels of high school students are uneven. The current high school education takes developing students’ ability and improving students’ quality as the main development direction, and clearly requires that all students get good development in the whole process of education and teaching.High school mathematics has the characteristics of both logic and abstractness,so its main knowledge points are numerous and complex, and it covers a wide range. In the actual problem solving, some students have the problem of discontinuity of mathematical thinking and do not adapt well to the study in high school,so they feel unable to start. They are faced with many learning difficulties, and their academic performance and learning quality continue to decline, and finally evolve into students with learning difficulties. This phenomenon has already become an important problem in Chinese high school mathematics education, and has also attracted the attention of higher education circles. This paper mainly investigates the mathematical problem-solving ability of senior high school students through literature analysis, testing and interview. The first part combs the relevant theoretical basis through literature analysis, defines the connotation of mathematical problem solving ability and students with learning difficulties, and formulates the corresponding evaluation framework, focusing on the formation mechanism of students with math difficulties. The second part, based on this, makes the questionnaire and the outline of teachers’ interview on the problem-solving ability of numerically poor students in high school from the perspective of core literacy. The third part begins to formally implement the compilation of student test paper and formulate the corresponding scoring standards. In the fourth part,on the basis of the survey and test results, the students’ mathematical problem-solving ability is evaluated. The fifth part combines relevant theories and real cases to study the ways to improve the mathematical problem solving ability of high school students with number problems. At last, the author reviews the conclusion of this study and puts forward the shortcomings and prospects of the study. |
