| The Chinese spirit is the organic combination of the national spirit and the spirit of the times.Xi Jinping who is the leader of China has given many lectures to underline Chinese spirit’s role as a spiritual pillar and value orientation.High school students are the future of the country and the hope of the nation without a doubt.They need to guide their mainstream ideology based on China’s actual situation.Geography courses contain rich materials of the Chinese spirit.Introducing these materials to senior high school geographical teaching can make the content rich and develop the students’ desire for exploration to add vitality to geography class;on the other hand,it can acquire a broader mental outlook of students,effectively develop the emotion of family and country,and realize the educational value of geography.Infiltrating Chinese spirit into geography teaching in senior high school can effectively promote the implementation of new curriculum standards and accelerate the cultivation of geography core literacy.Therefore,it is imperative to combine the correspondence of senior high school geographical teaching material and Chinese spirit,explore the status quo of the penetration of Chinese spirit in geography teaching,and probe operational and feasible optimization strategies.Now there are many specialists and intellectuals who have studied the Chinese spirit,but the domestic research concerning the integration of Chinese spirit and subject teaching mainly focuses on ideological and political disciplines.Research into Chinese spirits permeating the teaching of geography is less in senior high school.This paper reviews the predecessors of advances about Chinese spirit and cultivate at home and abroad,and illustrates the theoretical and realistic meaning of Chinese spirit in geography teaching,which explains the need for research.Then,it makes clear the essence and basic content of Chinese spirit as the theoretical principle of this paper.In the light of the High School Geography Curriculum Standards,this paper sorts out the points of convergence between geography teaching material of Hunan version in 2019 and Chinese spirit,and finds that the content of Chinese spirit is more closely related to human geography.At the same time,this paper further excavates the knowledge points and cases that can be penetrated the Chinese spirit in the textbook content of Book 1 and Book 2,which provides a certain basis for developing the teaching information and designing the teaching tactics to permeate Chinese spirit.Under the support of constructivist theory,paradigm teaching theory,situational teaching theory,and humanistic learning theory,this paper selects some students and geography teachers from four senior high schools: Yichuan Binhe Senior High School,Zhenping No.1 Senior High School,Xixian Senior High School Attached to Central China Normal University and Guangshan No.2 Senior High School.Combining the actual study and work situation of the students and teachers,a questionnaire for students and interview questionnaire for teachers were designed respectively.A total of 540 students from the liberal arts classes in the first,the second and third year of senior high school were randomly chosen as the research participants.Finding out the students’ cognition and attention to the Chinese spirit and their main ways of receiving the cultivation of the Chinese spirit is the fundamental objective.At the same time,consultation surveys were conducted among 12 high school geography teachers,focusing on the high school geography teachers’ understanding of the Chinese spirit and their penetration in teaching.Due to the impact of epidemic prevention and control,both of teacher’s interview and student’ questionnaires were completed online.Through summing up and analyzing the findings,the following troubles are discovered in the cultivation of Chinese spirit.(1)Some teachers have insufficient knowledge of Chinese spirit,and their understanding is relatively one-sided.(2)Some teachers have insufficient professional ability and cannot penetrate the Chinese spirit well.(3)Students have insufficient recognition of Chinese spirit.(4)The cultivation method is single and heavily weighted in favor of the theoretical level.Practice is not given importance.In order to enhance the osmotic effect of the Chinese spirit,according to the reasons of existence,taking the characteristics of high school geography teaching into consideration,and under the principles of science,subjectivity,dominance and the unity of knowledge and action,the thesis have offered concrete and feasible solutions: first,strengthening teachers’ spiritual and cultural education and improving their spiritual and cultural literacy;second,paying attention to Chinese spirit and exploring teaching materials;third,designing a complete teaching schedule scientifically and rationally;fourth,integrating situational materials of Chinese spirit and designing creative test questions;fifth,carrying out geography research trips and experiencing the Chinese spirit on the spot.Finally,based on the penetrating principle and strategy,taking "vegetation and environment" and "agricultural location factors and their changes" as examples,the thesis designed teaching cases integrating Chinese spirit into teaching.The creative viewpoint of this paper is that it takes the integration of high school geography teaching and Chinese spirit,and the topic selection and perspective are relatively novel.From the micro perspective of high school geography teaching,this paper put forward tactics to infiltrate the Chinese spirit and provides reference for the plan of geography teaching cases and the completion of moral education goals,which offers some examples for broadening the cultivation path of Chinese spirit.The permeation of Chinese spirit in geography teaching can make students develop in all directions,which makes them grow into newcomers of the era who bear the Chinese dream.It is expected that this article can promote the research on the cultivation path of Chinese spirit and rich teaching materials for the front-line geography teachers in high schools to complete the assignment of reinforcing ideological and ethical cultivation and training more personnel. |
