In the Geography Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 edition 2020 Revision)promulgated by the Ministry of Education,it is proposed in the "Teaching and Evaluation Suggestions" to try to reflect the teaching with the support of information technology and deepen the application of geographic information technology in classroom teaching.Visualization teaching is a teaching method based on geographic information technology and oriented by the characteristics of geography discipline.It obtains rich visual geography teaching resources through network channels,supplemented by corresponding teaching methods and modes,which plays an important role in the characterization of geography knowledge and the cultivation of core literacy.As an important part of the core literacy of geography,regional cognition is not only the characteristic embodiment of geography discipline,but also the hot spot of geography teaching and research in our middle schools.However,when using traditional geography teaching methods to explain and demonstrate regional knowledge,it is obvious that its lack of expression and connectivity are not strong.In the information age,visual presentation is more in line with the requirements of visual thinking and efficient learning.Therefore,on the basis of in-depth excavation of geography visualization teaching,this paper applies it in the cultivation of regional cognitive literacy,so that geographic information technology can penetrate into it and achieve better teaching effect.However,at present,the research on visual teaching is mostly a single way of detailed analysis,such as "mind mapping","image teaching","film and television works",etc.In the study of geography teaching theory,we are often required to optimize the combination of various teaching methods.Therefore,this paper thinks about optimizing the combination of visual teaching presentation methods from visualization.This paper selects six more common and novel visual presentation methods to deal with the complex and diverse geographical knowledge and changeable teaching environment.Therefore,regional cognitive literacy is analyzed into dimensions and divided into seven dimensions to seek the deep integration of visual teaching and regional cognition,and put forward the application and implementation strategies of visual teaching in regional cognitive training,so as to help teachers to better apply visual teaching in high school geography teaching.This study in geography teaching theory,target classification theory,brain division of labor theory,visual thinking theory and multimedia learning cognitive theory under the guidance of the "visual teaching" and "regional cognition" analysis,explore the correlation of the two,looking for fit,and the teaching version of "regional development" as an example,visual analysis of image system,make the regional cognitive literacy and image system correlation and confirmed in the teaching material.On this basis,online and offline,and interview the current situation and problems through scientific and effective analysis,it is found that for teachers:(1)their cognition of geography visualization teaching should be strengthened;(2)teachers pay little attention to geography visualization teaching;(3)teachers should improve the implementation method and ability of geography visualization teaching.In terms of students:(1)the visual learning effect of students ’regional cognition needs to be improved.(2)the depth of students’ learning based on visual resources needs to be expanded.According to the above research and problems,this paper puts forward the following four application strategies of visual teaching in the cognitive training of high school geographical areas:(1)it is necessary to explore new knowledge and deepen the understanding of geographical visualization.Teachers’ understanding of geographical visual presentation method profoundly affects the implementation and selection of visual teaching;(2)Important guarantee to improve the visual teaching efficiency;(3)penetrating teaching methods and the transfer of visual teaching methods;(4)dimensional matching is required to promote the deep integration of visual teaching and regional cognition.For example,the use of professional map and network digital map to cultivate spatial positioning ability to establish the "regional location" cognitive structure;Using the geographical concept map and the landscape map to improve the element analysis ability to establish the "regional element" cognitive system;Using geographic thinking mapping,chart and image to cultivate the comprehensive analysis ability of geographic characteristics for dialysis of "regional characteristics";Using geographical images and mind mapping to cultivate the comprehensive and comparative ability of elements to improve the concept of "regional differences and connections";Guided by geographic micro video,dynamic,and mapping,Show the process of "regional development",Implement the concept of development;With geographic mind mapping,images,and geographic micro video as tools,Conduct a comprehensive "regional evaluation" to establish the overall consciousness.As for the application strategy of visual teaching,this study selects the second textbook "Regional Development" that matches the "regional cognition" quality,designs visual teaching,and uses a variety of presentation methods to show the style of geographical visual teaching for reference.As an important method to assist the cognitive cultivation of geographical areas,visual teaching needs to be constantly enriched and improved in the process of specific teaching practice,and promote the deep integration of presentation mode and dimension matching,so as to better play its role.Here,I hope to play a certain role in helping and guiding teachers’ teaching.
