| The Physics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)and the "double reduction" policy both call for changing the teaching mode,improving the efficiency of classroom teaching,and calling for problem-oriented inquiry-based classroom teaching,in an attempt to improve students’ comprehensive literacy and fulfill the fundamental task of establishing moral education through changing the talent training mode.Therefore,this study is based on the PBL(Problem-Based Learning)teaching model for the design and practice of junior high school physics unit teaching,in line with the new curriculum reform concept and the "double reduction" policy requirements,and has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper discusses the feasibility of integrating PBL and unit teaching design in junior high school physics teaching based on the literature of PBL and unit teaching design.Based on the results of the survey questionnaire,we clarify the appropriateness of the PBL-based physics unit design and its use in classroom practice,and build a PBL-based unit design process with reference to the PBL theory and the ADDIE model.Based on this process,we develop a case study of a junior high school physics unit on "pressure" and use it in teaching practice to test the effectiveness of the PBL-based unit design process and practice in junior high school physics,and to provide a feasible solution for promoting the implementation of core literacy in physics subjects at the compulsory education level.This paper uses various research methods to conduct a survey study,theoretical study and practical study on the unit teaching of junior high school physics based on PBL teaching mode.Among them,the survey study found that the junior high school physics classroom has a good condition basis for PBL teaching;students welcome the unit teaching based on PBL teaching mode.In the theoretical study,we established the principles and procedures of the PBL-based middle school physics unit teaching design,and developed a corresponding teaching case based on the example of "Pressure" in Chapter 9 of the second book of the eighth grade of the Renminbi edition.For the practical study,the data of students’ self-assessment and mutual assessment forms in the experimental class were analyzed by using Excel and SPSS statistical tools,and the unit test results of the experimental class and the control class were compared and analyzed to test the effectiveness of the teaching.We found that:(1)the unit teaching based on PBL mode can improve students’ participation and efficiency;(2)the unit teaching based on PBL mode can improve students’ understanding of knowledge;(3)the unit teaching based on PBL mode can improve students’ ability to apply their knowledge to solve practical problems,so as to better promote the cultivation of core literacy. |
