| From a materialist perspective, historical research is transformed into a science, allowing for a deeper understanding of the evolution of human society and uncovering the laws of historical progression. The History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)emphasizes the important value of the materialist view of history as the first core literacy that students must have.Research conducted by front-line teachers and junior high school students revealed that, despite the materialist view of history being the initial core literacy for students, there are still numerous obstacles in fostering materialist historical literacy in junior high school history classrooms. In junior high school teaching, there is a problem of excessive mechanization in the teaching style of history teachers. As a result, students’ understanding of the materialist view of history is limited, and they do not really grasp its connotation, cannot apply it to historical study and discussion, and cannot use it as a guiding ideology for solving practical problems. This paper aims to explore the cultivation of materialist historical literacy in the current junior high school history classroom, dig deep into its existing problems, and explore its reasons from the root.Based on this,a series of effective improvement measures are proposed,in order to better promote the development of students’ materialist historical literacy. Finally, according to the above training ideas,it is proposed that the cultivation of materialist historical literacy can be carried out through scientific learning of the principles of materialist historical view, the use of flexible teaching methods, and multi-dimensional learning evaluation.Among them, the use of flexible teaching methods is the core content of this thesis, and it is proposed that the use of big concepts to integrate the content of the materialist historical view and cultivate the materialist historical view literacy should pay attention to the specific materialist historical view cultivation methods such as combining local local resources, and provide relevant teaching design ideas for the cultivation approach. |
