| Since the 21 st century,the cultivation of critical thinking skills has received increasing attention in international education and has become the core of educational reform in countries around the world.Critical thinking skills have now become the core skills of the 21 st century,directly determining the viability of individuals,the innovation of society and the competitiveness of nations.At present,the emphasis and reform efforts of critical thinking skills in China are increasing year by year,and “critical questioning”has become one of the basic points of “scientific spirit” in the six core literacies of secondary school students.Through the study of domestic and foreign literature,it is found that the research on“critical thinking” and “the cultivation of critical thinking skills” has achieved substantial results,and scholars have reached a consensus on many basic or critical issues.Nevertheless,as to the research field,there are fruitful theoretical and holistic research results at the macro level,but very limited practical and strategic researches at the basic education level.The most crucial problem is that there is almost no research that applies the existing theoretical research results to subject teaching so as to forms a practical theory with guiding significance for teaching.Based on this situation,I chose this research project to combine the existing research results with high school physics teaching,and through practical research methods to explore and develop,“teaching methods and strategies for the cultivation of critical thinking skills” that can guide high school physics teaching with both theoretical connotations and disciplinary characteristics.First of all,I,through the method of literature research,analyzed and summarized the existing research results in four aspects: the concept and essence of critical thinking,skills and mental attitude,teaching methods and strategies,and behavioral performance and assessment,and summarized the teaching methods and basic strategies for critical thinking skills development.On this basis,combining the teaching characteristics of physics subjects with the cognitive ability and level of high school students,I,based on the basic principles of cognitive learning theory,initially constructed teaching methods and strategies for developing students’ critical thinking skills in high school physics teaching,as a guiding platform for subsequent practical research.As the practical research continues to develop,the teaching methods and strategies are simultaneously further revised and refined until the final results are formed.In addition,the evaluation results show that the cultivation of students’ critical thinking skills based on “teaching methods and strategies” has both short-term and long-term effects,as it can facilitate the learning and internalization of students’ knowledge in the classroom for one thing,and improve the quality of students’ thinking and critical thinking skills as a whole for another.Finally,I chose two teaching cases to demonstrate the research results,and presented the teaching methods and strategies comprehensively through the teaching design,and analyzed the mechanism in the “design intention”. |
