In recent years,with the transformation of modern medical model,the state has introduced a series of policies to promote the development of medical social work.The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that it is necessary to guarantee and improve people’s livelihood in the course of development,promote the construction of healthy China,and give priority to the strategic position of people’s health development.Medical social workers,with their unique ideas and professional methods,are gradually becoming more and more important in medical and health care.Under the guidance of the policy,Y Hospital established a social work department based on its own reality,which has made certain professional achievements,but also encountered corresponding problems.First of all,this paper takes the social work Department of Y Hospital in Shanxi Province as the research object.Based on the analysis of the development background of the social work Department of Y Hospital,guided by the field theory,it collects relevant data of its development by means of participatory observation and semi-structured interview,and summarizes the elements of the development of social work department in hospitals as field,capital and habitus.That is,the coexistence of social work Department and other departments in Y Hospital,the accumulation of status and specialties in the process of development,and the inherent concepts and methods in professional practice.This paper analyzes the system and operation mechanism of the social work department in hospitals,and analyzes the problems facing the development of the social work department in terms of the degree of professional service.Secondly,SWOT analysis is adopted to point out the internal advantages of the development of medical social work: inherent professional ideas,internal disadvantages: lack of capital accumulation,external opportunities: support from relevant forces,external threats: interference from sub-fields.The development status of social work Department of Y Hospital was analyzed from three aspects:political legitimacy,resource aggregation and professional autonomy.It is pointed out that the policy is difficult to implement effectively,the political legitimacy of the department admitting the dilemma,the shortage of talent resources,the lack of multi-linkage resource gathering,and the professional autonomy problems of limited professional practice and deviation of self-role.Finally,based on the above problems,this paper adopts the borrowing logic to exert power on the social work department from three aspects: policy,structure and action.At the policy level,the problem of political legitimacy is solved through the promotion and implementation of national policies and the recognition of sub-fields.At the structural level,through the establishment of interdisciplinary cooperation,talent team construction to solve the problem of resource aggregation;At the action level,through innovative service methods,enhance professional identity and help social workers build all-round professional confidence.Through the three parties to build the development bridge,explore the practical road,to achieve the high quality development of hospital social work.
