The "Geography Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)" released the connotation,performances and level classifications of the core literacy of "Geography Practical Capability",and clarified the position of information technology in geography teaching.Subsequently,the Ministry of Education promulgated "Standards for the Configuration of Geography Teaching Equipment in Junior Middle Schools",which suggested that schools with good conditions should be equipped with drones for geography teaching.Nowadays,the development of geographic practice capability has fallen into the dilemma of the difficulty in comprehensive observation of practical content,one-sided copying from books,and time-consuming,labor-intensive,and low-efficiency investigation of practical activities.This paper aims to explore the application mode of UAV aerial photography in the cultivation of geographic practice,in order to innovate the training method,improve the quality,and enrich the acquisition of geographic learning resources.Under the guidance of the theory of learning by doing,the theory of embodied learning and the theory of Marxist practice,this paper discusses the application of drone aerial photography to the cultivation of geographic practice capability.The existing research results are summarized through literature research method,interview survey method and text analysis method to demonstrate the demand,feasibility and advantages of UAV aerial photography for the cultivation of geographic practice capability.By investigating the current situation,innovation advantages,adaptability and limitations of UAV aerial photography in the cultivation of geographic practice,it is found that the application of them has a low degree of use.The advantages of resources are suitable for the study of natural and human geography,but aerial photography is greatly affected by weather environment,wind direction and wind force,satellite signals and time scale.On this basis,this article puts forward the practical principles,typical principles,real-time principles and comprehensive principles of UAV aerial photography in the cultivation of geographic practice capability,and five application strategies:(1)Add aerial photography conditions to make up for the objective restrictions on the cultivation of Geographic Practice Capability;(2)Select aerial photography content to serve the themes and values of the cultivation of Geographic Practice Capability;(3)Through aerial photography teaching,give full play to the complementarity inside and outside space to the cultivate Geographic Practice Capability;(4)Strengthen aerial photography guidance and promote the individual development of the cultivation of Geographic Practice Capability;(5)Present the results of aerial photography to test the level of the cultivation of Geographic Practice Capability.Combined with the content requirements of the curriculum standards,develop aerial photography practice resources such as landforms and landscapes,urban and rural planning,natural disasters,and ecological environments,and build resource differentiation based on the "activities" columns and resources based on the "problem research" columns and practice areas.The integrated mode is used to carry out drone practice activities for readers’ reference.In this paper,taking the aerial photography observation of the 18 th Chongxi River landscape as an example,it comprehensively applies the principles and strategies of UAV aerial photography in the cultivation of geographic practice capability,compiles original examination questions of the 18 th Chongxi River,and evaluates the students’ academic performance in the UAV aerial photography activities.The research results show that the application of UAV aerial photography to the cultivation of geographic practice has a good effect.
