How to measure the development of students’ geometric ability through appropriate evaluation method is a difficult problem to be solved in teaching and evaluation. To integrate performance assessment in the teaching process of "Graph and Geometry" is beneficial to evaluate the development of students’ spatial concept, geometric intuition, reasoning ability and other aspects. This paper intends to construct a set of performance assessment procedures of "Graph and Geometry" in primary school mathematics,so as to promote changes in students’ learning of geometry knowledge.First of all, this paper conducted literature analysis on the existing research results of "Graph and Geometry","performance assessment" and "application of performance assessment in mathematics",and found the existing problems in the existing research,so as to determine the research problems, research ideas and research methods;Secondly, the author deeply understands and discusses the connotation and characteristics of expressiveness evaluation, analyzes the realistic dilemma faced by elementary school mathematics teaching evaluation, and discusses the suitability and value of performance assessment and the integration of "Graph and Geometry".Then,on the basis of familiarity with the relevant theories of performance assessment, the general procedures of performance assessment of "Graph and Geometry" are constructed in combination with the realistic requirements of "Graph and Geometry" teaching and evaluation of primary mathematics curriculum standards. Finally, action research method is adopted to implement action in real educational situation and explore the application of performance assessment in the teaching of "Graph and Geometry",so as to promote the change of teachers’ and students’ ideas and behaviors. It is found that the application of performance assessment in the teaching of "Graph and Geometry" has brought about many changes between teachers and students. As far as teachers are concerned, first, performance assessment has revolutionized their teaching ideas. The teachers’ concept has changed from "teacher is the only evaluation subject" to "teacher and student evaluation double subject",and they realize the importance of students’ participation in evaluation.Second, teachers’ awareness of evaluation rules is enhanced, and evaluation is more objective, fair and visual.Third, performance assessment provides a new evaluation paradigm for teachers.Evaluation is no longer limited to a single paper-and-pencil test, and teachers have more evaluation choices. As far as students are concerned, firstly, expressive evaluation is a challenge to students’ traditional evaluation mode and breaks students’ inherent thinking of solving "Graph and Geometry" problems;Second, the performance assessment for students "Graph and Geometry" learning clear direction, students can always move forward toward the performance goal;Thirdly, performance assessment provides clear and clear evaluation feedback and promotes students’ continuous reflection and improvement in learning.Through the research, this paper mainly forms three conclusions: 1.performance assessment can promote the change of teachers’ evaluation concept, promote the reform of teaching and evaluation methods.2.The results of action research confirm the effectiveness and feasibility of performance assessment applied to the teaching of "Graph and Geometry" in primary mathematics.3.The study preliminarily constructs a set of feasible basic procedures for the evaluation of "Graph and Geometry" performance.
