Kindergarten education is not only the responsibility of teachers,but also requires the active participation of parents.Parents are an important educational force in kindergartens,and they contain rich educational resources.As a new type of family-kindergarten cooperation,parent teaching assistants can give full play to the advantages of parents’ resources and promote the development of children and improve the level of family-kindergarten cooperation.This research comprehensively uses interview,questionnaire and observation methods to investigate the actual situation of parents’ participation in kindergarten teaching assistant activities in F city;through the self-made questionnaire to investigate the three aspects of parents’ participation awareness,participation form and participation effect in kindergarten teaching assistant activities;Combined with the questionnaire and interview data,this paper introduces the overall situation of parents’ participation in kindergarten assistant activities in F city and the differences under different demographic variables,and analyzes the main problems :first,parents do not have a clear understanding of the concept of teaching assistant activities;second,father parents have low awareness of participating in teaching assistant activities;third,parents’ thoughts and behaviors in participating in teaching assistant activities are inconsistent;fourth,the form and group of parent teaching assistants are relatively single;fifth,parents’ participation in teaching assistant activities is formalized,and the effect is superficial.The main reasons for these problems are: first,inadequate publicity for parent teaching assistants;second,constraints from traditional concepts and culture;third,limitations on the time and ability of parents to participate in teaching assistant activities;fourth,failure to fully explore parents teaching assistant resources;fifth,kindergarten management affects the quality of parents’ participation in teaching assistant activities.Aiming at the main problems existing in parents’ participation in kindergarten teaching assistant activities,the following targeted strategies are put forward: first,increase the publicity of parent teaching assistants through multiple channels;second,change the concept of teaching assistants for fathers and parents and broaden the forms of teaching assistants for fathers and parents;thirdly,carry out teaching assistant training and carry out teaching assistants based on the internet;fourth,establish a diverse group of teaching assistants and carry out various forms of teaching assistants;fifth,establish a system related to parent teaching assistants and focus on teacher guidance.
