Physics is a science based on experiments,so physical experiment plays an important role in middle school’s physics teaching.Nowadays,how to cultivate the ability of scientific thinking and practice has been widely researched.With the advancement of artificial intelligence education,Arduino,as a hardware that is flexible and convenient,is integrated into middle school physics class.Arduino can not only help students get in touch with cutting-edge technology but also cultivate students innovative thinking.In this paper,Arduino is applied to physics experiment teaching,which aims to change the teaching method and promote the development of students’ scientific and technological innovation ability.The main research contents and results are as follows:Firstly,the status quo of physical experiment in senior high school is investigated and analyzed.Through questionnaire survey and interview,the present situation of physical experiment study of high school students and experimental teaching methods of teachers are investigated.The survey results show that the students’ innovative experimental exploration ability is weak,and the experimental teaching method is single.Compared with the traditional way of physical experiment,integrated physics experiment teaching of the Arduino can enhance learning effect and cultivate students’ experimental innovation ability.Secondly,Arduino is integrated into the selection of experimental teaching content and the formulation of teaching requirements and principles.By analyzing the advantages of Arduino and the characteristics of physics experiments in middle school,this paper selects the physical experiment content suitable for Arduino application,puts forward the basic teaching requirements from three aspects of learning content,autonomous learning and situation creation,and formulates the teaching principles on the grounds of the characteristics of the integration of Arduino knowledge and physics.Thirdly,teaching activities are designed.In order to improve students’ physics knowledge and innovation ability,teaching activities are designed from three aspects of teaching theme,teaching goal and teaching process.The activities of teachers and students are integrated into the 5EX teaching design model.According to the process of "entering the situation and asking questions,inquiry learning and physical application,engineering design and technical production,knowledge development and creative design,multiple evaluation and learning reflection",the teaching design is carried out.Fourthly,teaching practice is conducted and teaching effect is analyzed.Through teaching practice in grade two of senior high school,the teaching effect was analyzed by using evaluation scale and interviewing students,the results showed that physics experiment teaching with Arduino promotes the transformation of teaching methods and students’ various abilities in experimental exploration have been improved to a certain extent.In general,Arduino is integrated into physics experiment teaching,and teaching design and practice are conducted,which indicates the feasibility of Arduino’s application in physics experiment teaching and provides a reference for the development of innovative physics experiment teaching.
