| The new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic has continued to change since December 2019,and during the epidemic,universities nationwide responded to the national call for students to "suspend classes without stopping learning" and teachers to "suspend classes without stopping teaching" and carry out large-scale online teaching activities,and universities implemented online Universities implemented online teaching and used new media online platforms to ensure the smooth implementation of teaching programs.In this paper,we study the use of new media in online teaching in universities in Inner Mongolia from December 8,2019 to December 7,2022 to explore the use of new media platforms in online teaching and to understand the problems in the use of new media in online teaching in universities.The study is dedicated to provide reference for future major public health emergencies.It is both theoretical and practical to improve the effectiveness of online teaching in universities in the future.This paper adopts observation method,sampling method and questionnaire method to conduct a comprehensive survey on the use of new media platform and proficiency of the platform by teachers and students in the process of online teaching in colleges and universities.Whether teachers and students will fully master the functions of the new media platform in the course of class;whether they are proficient in using it and achieve the best results,etc.all affect the teaching results to a certain extent.Through the survey,this study analyzes and solves the problems in new media teaching,improves the satisfaction of teachers and students in using new media in online teaching,and enhances the effect of online teaching.It is found that the following problems exist in the use of new media in online teaching in colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia: low availability of new media devices for students in online teaching;a wide variety of new media platforms for online teaching;lack of new media literacy and weak new media operation links among teachers and students;limited teaching environment after the lag of network infrastructure construction.The way of life in Inner Mongolia is influenced by the geographical location,mainly animal husbandry,and students’ online learning at home has problems such as network congestion,lagging and even bad mobile signal.In response to the above online teaching dilemma,this paper proposes the following effective improvement countermeasures:students can use the latest high-performance terminals with the help of colleges and universities;integrate new media platform market resources and teaching platforms to complement each other;improve new media literacy of teachers and students through self-attitude improvement as well as professional training;accelerate the improvement of network popularity,solve network problems and provide excellent online teaching environment for college teachers and students. |
