| In recent years,a hot topic in the field of mathematics education is to integrate the history of mathematics into mathematics classroom.The educational value of the history of mathematics has been unanimously recognized by scholars,the teaching value of mathematics history and mathematics culture education has also been recognized by some front-line teachers,and tries the related teaching.At present,there are a lot of contents related to the history of mathematics in the textbooks of primary school in our country,and the related documents also clarify the connotation of the concept of the history of mathematics,which shows the importance of the history of mathematics in mathematics education.However,the teaching practice based on the history of mathematics still faces many problems,such as test requirements,class time limit and so on.Regarding the application of the history of mathematics to educational practice,the primary school where I teach is still in the exploration stage,and there has been no systematic research and discussion on teaching content,teaching methods,and how to evaluate after class.It is significant to develop the teaching case which satisfies the demand of the pupils,and to promote the formation of students’ mathematical culture.Therefore,this study uses the action research method,proposed the mathematics historical materials reading class the feasibility plan as well as the concrete implementation method,thus provides the theory basis and the practice reference for the later education teaching.Taking two classes of fourth grade in a primary school in C city as the research object,this thesis attempts to integrate the reading of mathematics historical materials into the teaching of“The generation of number” and“Three-digit multiplying two-digit-pen arithmetic multiplication”,and to carry out action research,by observing and recording students’ classroom reaction,we can reflect on a series of problems encountered in the process,draw conclusions,and then put forward solutions.In the action research,the author has designed the teaching plan,has conducted the course teaching practice,and has carried on the case study.The results show that:(1)the integration of the history of mathematics and reading in the classroom has a positive impact on students’ mathematical understanding,which can promote students’ mastery of mathematical concepts and deepen their understanding of the basic methods of solving problems,to develop their mathematical thinking,so as to enhance students’ mathematical literacy;(2)the reading teaching of mathematics historical materials can promote students’ interest in mathematics study,enhance their self-confidence in mathematics study,and help them set up the correct concept of mathematics study;(3)the development of reading teaching of mathematics historical materials can make students form a good reading habit,learn to read,promote the study of students’ professional knowledge,help them change their traditional ideas and improve their comprehensive ability.The action suggestions are as follows:(1)to gradually perfect the historical material content in the primary school mathematics teaching materials;(2)to give play to the teachers’ reading demonstration function;(3)to improve the teachers’ own comprehensive quality;(4)to choose the appropriate historical material content for the teacher. |
