| China is currently in a critical period of economic transformation,requiring large-scale,high-quality skilled personnel as a steady driver,but the shortage of skilled personnel required for upgrading and adjustment has clearly become an important clamp.Vocational education in Jiangxi Province is increasingly receiving national attention,such as building a national vocational education innovation and development highland with the Ministry of Education,but it is an established fact that the quantity and quality of skilled personnel cultivation cannot meet the social demand.This study takes a supply-side perspective of vocational education and provides data support for Jiangxi governments at all levels to improve the supply of skilled personnel by measuring the quality of skilled personnel cultivation and its influencing factors in Jiangxi higher vocational institutions.First,the current situation and causes of the development of skilled talents in Jiangxi province are analyzed.Through the analysis,it is found that there is a shortage of total supply and an imbalance of supply and demand structure in Jiangxi,which is directly related to the regional economic development that restricts the supply of skilled talents and the supply of higher vocational education lags behind the social demand.Secondly,the quality of skill talents training in Jiangxi higher vocational colleges and universities is measured.The indicators for measuring the quality of Jiangxi skilled personnel training were constructed in four dimensions: graduates’ retention rate,students’ future development expectation,vocational skills level,and vocational adaptability.276 valid questionnaires were obtained based on the questionnaire survey,and SPSS28.0 was used for empirical analysis.The results show that the quality value of Jiangxi higher vocational institutions’ skilled personnel training is only 2.1855,which is related to the scores of 1.95,2.62 and 2.22 for vocational adaptability,future development expectation and vocational skill level respectively,and the total weight of these three items is 0.942.Again,the factors affecting the quality of skill training in Jiangxi higher vocational institutions were analyzed empirically.Based on the theoretical analysis,a model of six levels of influencing factors,including campus environment,curriculum,skill training,pressure,society,and system,was constructed,in which each level included 6,5,7,4,4,and 5 indicators in turn,and the reliability test was used to screen the indicators.The empirical results show that the campus environment factor,stress factor and social factor basically pass the significance test of 10%,and the campus environment factor and stress factor pass the significance test of 5%,which have a significant positive influence on the quality of skill training,and the influence of the institutional environment factor is stronger than that of the stress factor.Finally,based on domestic and international reference and put forward initiatives to improve the quality of skill talents training in Jiangxi higher vocational institutions.The "enterprise university" training model in Japan,the "dual system" training model in Germany based on the sense of identity,the demand-oriented vocational education in Australia,the object-based vocational education in the United States,the professional cluster The vocational education model is oriented to industrial clusters in Guangdong,the differentiated vocational education model with regional characteristics in Jiangsu,and the "Skill Zhejiang" as the main grip in Zhejiang.Based on the actual situation in Jiangxi,we propose suggestions to improve the quality of skill training in higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province by breaking the pressure barrier of skill talents,clarifying the concept of education in higher vocational colleges,improving the training system in higher vocational colleges,adjusting the professional construction in accordance with the situation,and strengthening the accumulation and innovation of technical skills. |
