It is proposed in Compulsory Education Art Curriculum Standards(2022 edition)that "listening is an important task of music learning,an effective way to cultivate students’ aesthetic perception and core qualities,and plays an important role in improving students’ aesthetic taste".The idea of core accomplishment is the inheritance and development of the previous teaching idea.Junior high school music teaching should also be reformed accordingly,so that the school education can conform to the development trend of The Times and continue to provide talents for the society.Therefore,how to stimulate junior high school students’ interest in listening to music appreciation,improve the quality of listening to music appreciation,and cultivate students’ aesthetic ability and core quality is an urgent problem to be solved in junior high school music teaching.This study firstly summarizes,analyzes and reviews relevant researches on music appreciation theory,music appreciation in music teaching and music appreciation teaching strategies at home and abroad,and draws lessons from previous research content and experience.Secondly,through the investigation and research method,ten junior middle schools were randomly selected in the region to investigate the status quo of music teaching.In the process of investigation,it is found that there are some problems in music appreciation teaching in junior middle school,such as students’ fuzzy subject status,single teaching method,students’ lack of interest in listening and appreciation,and students’ lack of good listening habits.According to the research status,the teaching improvement focuses on the cases "Flying Petal" and "Electronic Space Station" to carry out practical teaching and analysis.Through the analysis,it is found that students’ interest in listening can be cultivated by using the creation of language situation and the creation of listening strategy in listening appreciation class.Based on the feedback of teaching practice,this paper puts forward the improvement strategy of junior high school students’ music appreciation literacy,and makes theoretical speculation based on the results of investigation and case,and concludes that it is necessary to respect students’ main position in listening appreciation classroom and change the teaching method of listening appreciation.Finally,this paper puts forward the practical measures to improve junior high school students’ music appreciation literacy: That is,student-oriented,enrich music appreciation methods,and promote students to develop good listening habits.This study tries to provide effective teaching suggestions for the improvement of students’ listening appreciation quality in junior middle school music teaching.To carry out the fundamental task and core quality concept of "cultivating virtues and cultivating people",improve students’ aesthetic perception ability and promote their all-round development.
