| Teachers are the key factors in education and teaching activities.Promoting the professional development of teachers,especially young teachers,and improving their quality and ability have become an important embodiment of following the law of education and respecting the internal needs of teachers’ development.In recent years,from the formulation of professional standards to the promulgation of relevant systems,all reflect the efforts made by the state in leading the professional development of teachers,but it also becomes the behavior guidance for people to study the professional development of teachers.At present,whether it is the research on the professional standard system or the professional evaluation system of teachers,more attention is paid to the results of teacher development under the prescribed indicators.Less understanding and attention is paid to the development demands and expectations of ordinary teachers,more attention is paid to the professional development trend of urban school teachers,and less attention is paid to the dilemma of young teachers ’professional development in rural primary schools.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to investigate the requirements and expectations of teachers as an interest subject for their own professional development,and to study and explore professional development paths and strategies that are more in line with the lives of young teachers in rural schools.This paper is an investigation on the current situation of young teachers’ professional development in rural primary schools.It selects two rural primary schools in M District of Maoming City,Guangdong Province as samples,and conducts an in-depth investigation on the current situation of young teachers’ professional development in these two schools.The survey mainly included the understanding and performance of young primary school teachers on professional development activities,their own professional ability,the influencing factors of professional development,the "double reduction" and professional development,and the expectation of professional development.The design of the survey content is combined with the requirements of the Professional Standards for Primary School Teachers(Trial),the Plan for Strengthening Teachers in the New Era of Basic Education and other policies for the professional development of primary school teachers.The purpose is to seek optimal paths and strategies for the smooth professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools through a comprehensive understanding of the problems and difficulties in the professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools.In this paper,through the analysis of questionnaire survey data and interview data,the professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools has three characteristics: the form of development is relatively single,the enthusiasm of teachers’ subjective development is high,and the harmonious interpersonal environment is the important driving force for development.At the same time,it revealed that the young teachers in rural primary schools had difficulties in professional development,such as relatively few development opportunities,insufficient targeted professional training content,weak professional development guidance,and insufficient ability to implement "double reduction".On the basis of the investigation and analysis of the current situation,this paper preliminarily puts forward some targeted strategies to promote the professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools: broadening the ways of professional development of young teachers,integrating the content of professional training according to individual needs,strengthening the strength of teacher professional guidance,respecting the autonomy of teachers’ development,optimizing the environment for teacher professional development,etc. |
