The General High School Ideology and Politics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition Revised 2020)points out that the high school ideological and political curriculum strives to build an activity-oriented subject curriculum that combines subject logic and practical logic as well as theoretical knowledge and life concerns.Therefore,practical homework that refers to the organic combination of theoretical views and life experience and focuses on students’ real life and far-reaching development meets the requirements of the new curriculum standard.It also becomes one of important directions of homework reform.How to make practical homework become more effective in high school ideology and politics curriculum and then improve the quality of homework is related to students’ core literacy and curriculum value.In view of this,this paper starts from the design of practical homework in high school ideology and politics curriculum and analyzes its existing problems and causes.Besides,based on the actual situation,it discusses the optimization countermeasures.The full text is divided into the following parts:Part I: The concepts and importance of practical homework design of high school ideology and politics curriculum.First of all,following the logic from general to individual and the nature of the curriculum,it finds that the practical homework design of high school ideology and politics curriculum has the characteristics of correct guidance,independent inquiry,life practicality as well as feasibility and effectiveness.Then it clarifies the significance of the design for students’ cultivation,teachers’ development,and curriculum construction.Part II: The analysis of the current situation of practical homework design of high school ideology and politics curriculum.Through the questionnaire survey and interview survey,it is concluded that the design of practical homework has a series of results.But it also finds that there are still problems in the goal,content,form and requirements.According to this analysis,the causes mainly include four aspects: the restriction of traditional concept of examination-oriented education,the lack of professional ability of some senior high school teachers,the limited understanding of students on practical homework and the complexity of practical homework design itself.Part III: The optimization countermeasures of practical homework design of high school ideology and politics curriculum.Based on the problems and causes analyzed in the survey as well as combined with specific homework design cases and the requirements of the new curriculum standard,the targeted strategies are proposed by breaking through the limitations of teachers’ minds,improving teachers’ ability,deepening students’ understanding to participate and focusing on difficulties in elements of the process.The reason for these measures is to improve the effectiveness of practical work and meet the implementation requirements of the activity-oriented subject curriculum of ideology and politics in high school.
