Since the proposal of research travel in 2013,schools around the country have taken multiple measures to improve the comprehensive quality of students,in-depth study of specific activities and methods,and vigorously develop research courses.At present,the rapid development of geographic information technology,such as geographic information system,remote sensing technology,global satellite navigation system,has made information technology take a natural advantage in the geography discipline.Geography teachers have gradually realized the advantage value of integrating information technology into learning and teaching as an organic component.Information technology,as a teaching method,has been introduced into the geography class.It focuses on integrating with the real situation teaching.The research travel allows students to have specific experience in the real situation,and integrates information technology into the research travel.This not only provides the possibility for the development of geography research in the new era,but also is the booster of education reform.However,at present,there are few research programs about the integration design of geographic information technology and geographic research travel,and there is also a lack of analysis and discussion of application strategies.This paper uses the method of questionnaire to investigate and analyze the current situation of high school geography research travel and information technology teaching activities,taking the geography teachers and students from three schools in Jiamusi City as the survey objects.According to the survey data,the existing information literacy of teachers is far from the requirements of the "Education Informatization 2.0 Action Plan" issued by the Ministry of Education,which makes the use of information technology in geographical research travel not optimistic;Students’ ability to apply geographic information technology is also low.One of the reasons for this phenomenon is closely related to teachers’ low information literacy.Guided by humanistic learning theory,situational cognitive learning theory and educational information dissemination theory,this paper analyzes the application and advantage value of information technology in geographical research travel,and designs the application principles and application approaches of information technology in geographical research travel based on the inspiration of the questionnaire survey.In addition,the Changbai Mountain region and Fuyuan,the East Pole,were selected as the research sites for the design of the plan.Both plans closely followed the strategy of the application of information technology in geographical research travel,which has important practical significance in breaking through the time and space constraints of research,improving the research effect,and cultivating students’ geographical literacy.In a word,this paper explores the application of information technology in the design of senior high school geography research travel program,designs and innovates the research content system with the help of information technology,and creates a research content system that combines theory,technology and application,which provides some reference for senior high school geography teachers across the country to design research programs.
