Modern and contemporary prose,as the leading part of the unified compilation of junior high school Chinese textbooks,contains rich teaching resources and is a powerful tool to develop students’ Chinese core literacy.Modern and contemporary prose teaching has become an important part of junior middle school Chinese teaching,which plays an irreplaceable role in developing students’ language literacy,enriching emotional experience,and improving reading and expression ability.In today’s information society,how to cultivate high-quality and innovative talents has become an urgent task of education in the new era.As a product of the learning society,deep learning emphasizes critical thinking on the basis of in-depth understanding,developing higher-order thinking ability,pursuing the construction of knowledge system in integration,and ultimately pointing to the transfer of application and problem solving in new situations.This not only accords with the development direction of Chinese curriculum reform,but also coincides with the writing characteristics of new textbooks and the teaching requirements of new curriculum standards,and becomes an important channel to implement students’ Chinese core literacy.Introducing the concept of deep learning into the teaching of modern and contemporary prose undoubtedly provides a new research idea for deepening the teaching of junior middle school prose reading and optimizing students’ prose learning effect.It is found that although some achievements have been made in the teaching of modern and contemporary prose in junior middle school in recent years,there are still some unsatisfactory phenomena at present.Some teachers’ improper setting of learning situation makes students’ understanding of the text superficial and not deep enough.The dialogue between teachers and students is superficial,the content of classroom thinking is limited,and the space of students’ thinking is relatively narrow;The teaching content is not connected,and students’ grasp of prose knowledge is scattered and not systematic.The phenomenon of disjointed learning and application also makes it difficult for students to transfer application and solve problems in the new situation.This makes the prose teaching in junior middle school lack of depth,fragmentation,superficial status quo.The reasons can be attributed to the influence of the exam-oriented education environment,the quality of some teachers to be improved,the lack of students’ awareness of problems and the lack of teachers and students’ understanding of deep learning.To more effectively help teachers improve teaching,promote the prose to the deepening of learning in junior high school students,this paper discussed the connotation of modem and contemporary prose deep learning of junior high school and basic characteristics,analyzes the realistic problems and combined with excellent teaching on the basis of the thought to promote deep learning of junior middle school modern and contemporary prose teaching practice can be from the following several aspects: One is to arouse students’ deep understanding through the creation of multiple situations.The second is to build a thinking platform to cultivate students’ higher order thinking;The third is the systematic integration of teaching content to promote the construction of students’ prose system;Fourth,focusing on the integration of prose learning and application,pointing to students’ internalization and problem solving.Based on the perspective of deep learning,this paper discusses the teaching of modern and contemporary prose in junior middle school,in order to optimize the teaching effect of modern and contemporary prose in junior middle school to a certain extent,promote students’ deep learning of prose to really happen,and contribute to the implementation of students’ core literacy and the development of necessary abilities.
