Modern poetry expresses the poet’s true and rich thoughts and feelings flexibly and freely.Poets may sing,or sing softly,or be generous and passionate,or sigh melancholy.The poem is full of concern for the fate of the motherland and the rise and fall of the nation,full of sincere family affection,condensed thinking on the philosophy of life,and flashes the brilliance of ideals.In the junior high school Chinese textbooks,some famous Chinese and foreign modern poems with both beauty and form are selected.Learning these modern poems can enrich students’ emotional experience,improve aesthetic taste,enhance students’ imagination,improve students’ aesthetic realm,and implement aesthetic education in poetry reading and poetic perception.Judging from the current Chinese teaching situation,due to the influence of factors such as the low enthusiasm of students to learn modern poetry,the lack of teachers’ attention to modern poetry teaching,and the inability to grasp the evaluation of modern poetry teaching effects,there are still some aspects of modern poetry teaching.need to improve.To think about the teaching of modern poetry from the aspect of emotional education,it not only pays attention to the emotional experience and psychological development of students,but also pays attention to the reading and application of language,which can better volatilize the positive role of modern poetry in educating people in the discipline.The research of this thesis takes the modern poetry in the textbooks for junior high school as the research object.On the basis of understanding the teaching cases and teaching research related to modern poetry in junior high school,it sorts out the concepts of emotion,emotion education,and emotion education in Chinese.,and then conduct a preliminary study on the physical and mental development of middle school students,the main characteristics,the relationship between physical and mental development and emotional education,and explore the significance and value of emotional education.The research on the compilation characteristics of modern poetry in junior high school Chinese textbooks and the content of emotional education contained in it is part of the thesis,mainly to clarify the specific content,teaching requirements and emotional education content of modern poetry in junior high school Chinese textbooks.The purpose of research on teaching status is to understand the actual teaching situation and to make teaching countermeasures more pertinent.Based on theoretical thinking,aiming at the relevant problems in modern poetry teaching,combined with specific teaching cases,this paper considers the teaching strategies of modern poetry from the perspective of the emotional education of middle school students,and puts forward some targeted teaching suggestions,such as what should be in modern poetry teaching.Focus on creating situations,reading language,and aesthetic experience,combining reading aloud and encouraging creation.The research of the thesis is expected to help teachers choose more effective teaching methods according to the content of modern poetry,so as to enrich students’ aesthetic experience and promote students’ overall physical and mental development.
