In recent years,with the deepening of the curriculum reform,the new standard is more and more strict to the requirement of the language teaching material selection,while different genre and style of the article is also increasingly into the middle school language teaching material.Modern and Contemporary Poetry because of its implicit concise language,full-rich emotion,harmonious and beautiful rhythm get the hearts of numerous readers’ love,and compared with other styles,with unique characteristics,the Modern and Contemporary Poetry is an important part of Chinese textbooks.In Chinese education,Modern and Contemporary Poetry has long been the edges,but also in middle school language teaching material,however,its education significance is irreplaceable.In the case of the one outline many teaching materials,each textbook has different choices for the Modern and Contemporary Poetry.This paper take the Modern and Contemporary Poetry in the textbooks of junior high school which widely used and published by the People’s Education Press and the Chinese Edition as a research objects,by the "compulsory education Chinese course standard(2011 edition)"(hereinafter referred to as the "new standard")for junior middle school language teaching material selected text requirements as the guiding ideology.This paper uses comparative research,data analysis and literature research to analysis and comparative study of contemporary poetry selected quantity,content and presentation of comparative analysis,then found that the Modern and Contemporary Poetry selected in two sets of Chinese teaching material is less number and uneven distribution,what’s worse,these selected articles are imbalances and in modern era.According to the problems of the two edition,this paper based on the requirements of new curriculum,to put forward some reasonable countermeasures,for instance,rational planning and selection of text,the unity of classical and temporal.The purpose of this paper is objectively analysis of the current situation of the Modern and Contemporary Poetry on the junior middle school’s Chinese textbooks,and tries to make the Modern and Contemporary Poetry more scientific and standardized.The Chinese education in middle schools should pay more attention to the style of the Modern and Contemporary Poetry.
