| As the main force for the development of basic education in China,the job satisfaction of rural teachers not only affects the effectiveness of daily school education,but also affects the sense of achievement of rural teachers in teaching work,but also plays an important role in the healthy development of rural primary education.It is of great significance to study the current situation of rural teachers’ job satisfaction in China,analyze various factors affecting teachers’ job satisfaction,and improve rural teachers’ job satisfaction from the perspective of government functions.This paper mainly takes the teachers of some rural primary and secondary schools in Dongxing District of Neijiang City as the main research object.After understanding their own work status,taking personal background factors as the research basis,this paper uses the way of questionnaire to understand their job satisfaction in their common work in the school,so as to analyze and study the job satisfaction of rural teachers in Dongxing District.The survey results show that the overall level of work evaluation of rural teachers in Dongxing District is low;There are differences in job satisfaction in ten dimensions: colleague relationship,further education and promotion,self realization,working environment,policy support,professional identity,work itself,leadership management,social support and salary.Firstly,this paper summarizes and analyzes the research status of teachers’ job satisfaction at home and abroad.Combined with the hierarchy of needs theory,two factor theory,expectation theory and gap theory,combined with the current situation of rural teachers in Dongxing District,it provides a theoretical basis for the following research.Then,using the ways of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and social visit,this paper studies the current situation of rural teachers’ job satisfaction in Dongxing District,and puts forward the overall situation of rural teachers’ job satisfaction in Dongxing District.Thirdly,according to the analysis of the different influence of personal background factors and working environmental background factors on Teachers’ job satisfaction and the job satisfaction of rural teachers in Dongxing District reflected in each dimension,find out the specific factors with great influence and point out the direction for the countermeasures and suggestions later.Finally,it gives some advice to increase the job satisfaction of rural teachers in Dongxing District.Consider the policy from the four aspects of local government,units,communities and individuals,so as to improve the job satisfaction of rural teachers in Dongxing District of Neijiang City,so as to promote the vigorous development of basic education in this district. |
