Comprehensive learning is an important element of language teaching after the implementation of the basic education curriculum reform,and it plays an inescapable role in the overall development of students.Reading and writing are the eternal subjects of language teaching,and they are the capable assistant to promote the development of Chinese literacy.Chinese curriculum standard of compulsory education suggests that students should participate in comprehensive learning activities that combined listening,speaking,reading and writing.Because it can not only strengthen the connection with other subjects,but also promote the overall and coordinated development of students’ practical language skills.The content compilation and specific design of comprehensive learning in Chinese textbook for junior middle school which compiled by the Ministry are embodied the characteristics of combination of reading and writing,which provides a platform for teachers to carry out the combination of reading and writing teaching.However,there are still some shortcomings in the teaching process of Chinese comprehensive learning.The teaching activities of reading and writing have been excessively separated from each other,which resulting in a series of teaching problems.How to effectively deal with the relationship between reading and writing in the process of comprehensive learning teaching,so as to maximize the benefits of Chinese teaching in junior middle school.That is an urgent problem for Chinese teachers in junior middle school.In view of this,this paper conducts a series of researches on the teaching problem of the combination of reading and writing in comprehensive learning of Chinese textbook in junior middle school,exploring the specific implementation strategies of combination of reading and writing in comprehensive learning of Chinese in junior middle school.Firstly,through literature research,the concepts of comprehensive learning and the combination of reading and writing are defined.Then the resources of combination of reading and writing in comprehensive learning in Chinese textbook in junior middle school are sorted out.It provides some research directions for the combination of reading and writing teaching.At the same time,the theoretical basis of the combination of reading and writing teaching is further elaborated.It is also analyzing the significance of implementing the combination of reading and writing teaching from four aspects:remedying the deficiencies of writing teaching,deepening students’ reading cognition,implementing the learning objectives of curriculum standards and improving students’ core Chinese literacySecondly,through questionnaires and interviews,the current teaching situation of the combination of reading and writing in middle school language and the current situation of students’ learning are acquainted.So,it helps to identify the problems and analyze the specific reasons.Here are some problems,first,teacher has cognitive bias and the awareness of the combination of reading and writing teaching is lacked;second,teachers’guidance is one-sided and students’ motivation is insufficient;third,the resource of the combination of reading and writing isn’t enough and the combination of reading and writing is a mere formality;last,the evaluation is lacked and the way of summary is single.Finally,through classroom observation and case analysis,aiming at problems which existed in the teaching of the combination of reading and writing,some improved strategies are discussed from three aspects:promoting writing by reading,promoting reading by writing,and building bridges between reading and writing.In the aspect of promoting writing by reading,students’ writing resources are enriched through stimulating students’ interest,using activity carriers flexibly,and creating situations.In the aspect of promoting reading by writing,students’ reading experience is enhanced by assigning writing tasks and cultivating reading skills.In terms of building a bridge between reading and writing,a teaching platform combining reading and writing is built by improving teachers’ comprehensive quality,strengthening the development of curriculum resources,enhancing scientific guidance and transforming the way of evaluation.At the same time,according to the strategy of the combination of reading and writing teaching,a teaching design for Chinese comprehensive learning in junior middle school is designed.It is beneficial to realize the teaching goal of the common development of reading and writing.
