Ethnic culture inheritance is a hot topic in today’s education circle.The General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council issued Opinions on the Implementation of the Excellent Traditional Culture Inheritance and Development Project,which mentioned the importance of national culture cannot be ignored.Primary and secondary schools begin to pay more attention to the introduction of traditional culture into the campus.First of all,it entered the vision of educators.This study conducted an in-depth search on domestic and foreign literature retrieval tools such as CNKI,Wanfang,Web of science and Google to understand the research status of folk song teaching in primary and secondary schools.With the theoretical support of "Compulsory Education Art Curriculum Standard(2022Edition)",this paper integrates the four core qualities into the design of folk song teaching.Through questionnaire survey and interview,it collects information on the instructors and students of the practice school,so as to obtain the real feedback on the effectiveness of current folk song teaching.At the same time,it explores the feasibility of integrating "performance" into the folk song classroom.Promote the implementation of students’ core qualities.The conclusion shows that it is necessary and urgent to study the teaching of folk songs based on the inheritance of national culture.Folk song plays an increasingly important role in music teaching.It is a fresh historical and cultural mark,which reflects the cultural will of the people and is of great value to the inheritance of national culture.In today’s society,school music education is still the most important way of education.School education has important cultural and educational functions.Through the study of Chinese folk songs,students can realize the cultural identity of the country.To realize mother tongue education in Chinese culture;To achieve the development of students’ core qualities.
