Study On Sustainable Development Of Rural Happiness Center Mutual Support For The Elderly

Since the reform and opening up,with the implementation of China’s family planning policy and the deepening of the reform,China’s social structure has undergone significant changes,such as the miniaturization of family size,aging population and other increasingly prominent problems,posing a severe challenge to China’s traditional pension service system.Especially in rural areas,as more and more young people in rural areas work and live in cities,resulting in a large number of empty nesters and elderly people living alone in rural areas,the elderly in rural areas are facing more serious problems in old-age services,which has caused a serious impact on the traditional rural old-age service system with family as the main body.Therefore,in order to solve the problem of rural old-age,2008 hebei feixiang explore set up the mode of a mutual happiness court support,this new type of mutual endowment service not only fill the gaps in the traditional family endowment,also make up for the deficiencies of social pension institutions,for the rural empty-nesters,solitary old man set the "old be raised,some old men and old-aged’s providing" the happiness of the home.Under the establishment and promotion of "fat township model",large-scale construction began across the country,promoting the rapid development of rural happiness centers for mutual care for the elderly.However,in the process of development,some areas have difficulties in running happiness centers,or even close down,resulting in the waste of a large number of social resources.Therefore,how to effectively promote the sustainable development of rural happiness home mutual care model is an important issue worth studying.Based on the theory of sustainable development,this study systematically studied the sustainable development of rural happiness centers in P City of Henan Province by using the methods of questionnaire survey and in-depth interview.Firstly,from the three basic elements of sustainable development,economy,society and population,the operation status of the rural happiness center was comprehensively analyzed.The research found that: the operation status of the rural happiness center is not optimistic,there are many sustainable development problems,mainly the follow-up operation fund is tight,the sustainable development economy is not solid;Chaotic operation and management,lack of due standardization and coordination;The elderly participate in low enthusiasm,lack of mutual aid subject consciousness.Secondly,the reasons for the sustainable development of rural happiness centers are analyzed in detail from four aspects: economy,management,service and culture.Finally,based on the above analysis and the theory of welfare pluralism,the paper puts forward the path to promote the sustainable development of rural happiness centers: first,to build a diversified capital investment system,to build a solid economic foundation for sustainable development;Second,to establish a perfect service system and constantly improve the service level;Third,improve the operation management system and constantly improve the management level;Fourth,strengthen the construction of rural mutual aid culture and create an environment conducive to the sustainable development of happiness Institute.
