Research On The Potential Of Agricultural Trade Cooperation Between China And Latin American Countries

Latin American countries have unique geographical location,excellent climatic conditions and abundant agricultural land and cultivated land resources.China and Latin American countries are highly complementary in many fields of agriculture.With the gradual warming of economic and trade relations between China and Latin American countries in recent years,China have carried out a series of agricultural trade cooperation and agricultural science and technology cooperation projects with Latin American countries,and the government is also increasing its investment support for multinational agricultural enterprises in Latin American countries year by year,And strengthen technical assistance to Latin American countries.At the trade level,the total trade volume of China Latin America agriculture shows an overall growth trend.However,from the overall analysis of China Latin America agricultural cooperation,the trade structure of China and Latin America is unbalanced and the trade concentration of the two sides is too high.In addition,China Latin America agricultural investment is relatively short of funds,the scale of investment between the two sides at the agricultural investment level is very limited,and the level of scientific and technological cooperation is still very insufficient,At the trade level,the policy of agricultural trade diversification between the two sides still needs to be further deepened,at the investment level,the agricultural investment between China and Latin America still needs to be further deepened,and at the science and technology level,China and Latin America still need to support further exchanges and cooperation in agricultural science and technology.Agricultural cooperation between China and Latin American countries is of great significance to both sides.In terms of political strategic significance,the agricultural cooperation between China and Latin American countries can play a diplomatic role with the help of agricultural investment and agricultural trade.In economic sense,the agricultural resources of China and Latin American countries are highly complementary,and there are certain differences in resource endowments.With the help of agricultural cooperation,China’s scarce resources can be supplemented.At the same time,China’s import sources of agricultural products can be diversified to a great extent,so as to reduce the problem and risk of excessive concentration of China’s agricultural market.This paper cites the expanded gravity model,and brings the three forms of agricultural cooperation,China Latin America agricultural trade cooperation,China Latin America agricultural investment cooperation and China Latin America agricultural science and technology cooperation,into our regression model for analysis.Through the regression results,this paper analyzes the synergistic relationship between the three,and then analyzes the potential of agricultural cooperation between China and Latin American countries.Firstly,after consulting and analyzing a large number of articles at home and abroad on the three levels of China Latin America agricultural trade,investment and science and technology,this study starts with the external literature of agricultural cooperation,expounds and analyzes the process of China Latin America agricultural cooperation in detail,and analyzes the three levels of relevant literature in China,so as to carry out literature review.Secondly,this paper analyzes the agricultural cooperation between China and Latin American countries,including agricultural trade cooperation,agricultural investment cooperation and agricultural technology cooperation.The overall writing idea is according to the writing idea of "first analyze the overall agricultural cooperation of Latin American countries,and then sort out the typical products of typical countries",And the logical derivation of the total amount of agricultural trade,total exports and total imports between China and Latin America,so as to make a more detailed analysis of the current situation and characteristics of agricultural cooperation between China and Latin American countries.Then,by constructing the expanded trade gravity model,this paper includes China Latin America investment cooperation and China Latin America science and technology cooperation into our explanatory variables,processes the science and technology cooperation as a virtual variable,and then expands the explanatory variables to construct the expanded trade gravity model,from the total agricultural trade between China and Latin America This paper makes an empirical analysis from three levels of agricultural exports and agricultural imports,obtains the main factors affecting bilateral agricultural cooperation between China and Latin American countries,and deduces the relationship between agricultural trade cooperation,investment cooperation and scientific and technological cooperation between China and Latin American countries.Finally,combined with our empirical analysis results and the analysis of the current situation of agricultural cooperation between China and Latin American countries in Chapter III,we analyze our empirical results and deduce the impact of China Latin America agricultural science and technology cooperation and China Latin America agricultural investment cooperation on China Latin America agricultural trade cooperation.Finally,according to the previous analysis,we deduce the agricultural trade cooperation between China and Latin American countries The relationship between agricultural investment cooperation and agricultural science and technology cooperation,and draw relevant conclusions.Finally,it puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the problems existing in the process of China Latin America agricultural cooperation.
