The tea is one of the important economic crops in our country, and the rational management of tea gardens will directly affect the quality and yield of tea to a large extent.Nowadays, the tea planting of our country is facing a series of problems, such as low level of mechanization, uneven management level,as well as the high production cost, which restrict tea farmers from effectively improving the management of tea gardens. At present, the outsourcing of agricultural productive services is mainly focused on field food crops, but there are few studies on economic crops such as tea.In this thesis,we used the tea farmers in Xinyang City as the research object to explore the influencing factors of local tea farmers’ willingness to participate in service outsourcing. At the same time,16 factors derived from resource endowments such as tea farmers’ characteristics, tea garden characteristics, and tea farmers’ cognitive characteristics are selected as independent variables to further explore their impact on seven different production links with different characteristics, including tea garden weeding, land fertilization and pest prevention.Descriptive statistics and binary logistic empirical analysis were carried out on the survey data, targeted countermeasures and suggestions were also put forward; The main research conclusions include the following aspects:(1)Through the field interview and investigation of tea farmers,we learned that the age of tea farmers in Xinyang is mainly middle-aged and elderly people, also their educational level is relatively low.The proportion of migrant workers in tea slack season is relatively large, and there are two perennial family laborers.Besides, most tea farmers operate the tea garden for a long time, the scale of family-run tea gardens is small and scattered, and tea farmers’ awareness of tea garden management service outsourcing needs to be further improved.(2)Based on interviews and investigations of tea farmers,we learned that Xinyang tea farmers are currently facing a series of major problems such as high artificial tea picking costs, serious tea tree pests and diseases,as well as the insufficient labor. In addition, the phenomenon of severe freezing of tea trees in spring has occurred sometimes.Judging from the overall investigation,we learned that most of the tea farmers still rely on traditional farming and management methods for their management of tea gardens, resulting in low production efficiency and less participation in service outsourcing.(3)Through the empirical analysis of the influencing factors of the willingness of tea farmers to participate in service outsourcing,it is concluded that whether to go out to work, whether the labor force is sufficient in the busy tea season, and whether to participate in tea cooperatives has no effect on the willingness of tea farmers to participate in service outsourcing. On the contrary, the physical condition, education level, whether to serve as a village cadre, whether the tea garden area is scattered, the number of acres of tea gardens, the number of hired workers, and the operation time of tea gardens have a positive and significant impact on the willingness of tea farmers to participate in service outsourcing. On the other hand, the number of household labor force in the busy tea season, whether the soil quality is conducive to the growth of tea trees, whether there is tea production equipment, and the cognition level of tea farmers on service outsourcing have a negative and significant impact on the willingness of tea farmers to participate in service outsourcing.(4)According to the descriptive statistics and empirical analysis results,we finally put forward the following four suggestions for tea farmers participating in service outsourcing:(i)Guide tea farmers with different resource endowments to participate in service outsourcing;(ii)Cultivate the healthy development of tea industry service outsourcing market;(iii)Promote the organization and scale of service outsourcing suppliers;(iv)Improve the awareness level of tea farmers’ service outsourcing appropriately, and guide multiple channels to increase income.
