Research On The Impact Of Intelligent Development On The Transformation And Upgrading Of Manufacturing Industry

In the context of intelligence,“Intelligent manufacturing” is an important way to improve the overall manufacturing level of the country.My country’s manufacturing industry is at a critical stage of “intelligent transformation”.The problems faced by manufacturing enterprises,such as urgent intelligent transformation,unclear transformation path and insufficient enterprise upgrading ability,are becoming more and more obvious.Therefore,the intelligent manufacturing has become particularly important.This research explores the transformation path of the manufacturing industry based on the transformation and upgrading mechanism of intelligent development.And it has important theoretical value and practical significance for the manufacturing industry to improve the level of intelligence and realize intelligent transformation.Based on the enterprise-level panel data from 2009 to 2019,this paper uses the LP method and ROA to measure the changes in total factor productivity and enterprise performance in manufacturing industry.And the research empirically tests the impact of intelligence on the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.First,this paper theoretically discusses the direct transmission mechanism of intelligent development to the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry.The indirect transmission mechanism of R&D investment intensity and corporate governance structure as moderating variables is studied.The three-dimensional heterogeneity analysis of capital intensity,human capital level and firm nature is extended.Secondly,in order to measure the intelligent development level of various manufacturing enterprises,this study adopts the“Word2vec” method to measure the application level of artificial intelligence in the manufacturing industry.And on this basis,the intelligent transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry is tested from an empirical point of view.The research conclusions are as follows.(1)Intelligent development has a significant positive impact on the total factor productivity and performance of enterprises.It is the driving force for the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.(2)R&D investment intensity and corporate governance structure have a positive moderating effect on the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry promoted by intelligent development.(3)The role of intelligent development in promoting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry is affected by differences in capital intensity,human capital level and the nature of enterprise ownership.The conclusions of this paper provide rich empirical evidence for understanding enterprise intelligence strategies.And it provides a realistic path for the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.Finally,this study proposes countermeasures for the government and enterprises.This paper expands the related research on intelligent development in manufacturing from theory and practice.And it has certain reference significance for the intelligent transformation and upgrading of enterprises.In addition,this paper uses the method of text mining to measure the level of intelligence development and make three classifications,which provides a theoretical basis for future research on the development of intelligence.
