Food safety in catering service is a hot topic of social and public concern at present,because of the low transparency of food processing in catering service.This not only endangers the health and safety of the public,but also makes the public lose confidence in the government’s food safety supervision,weakens the credibility of the government’s food safety supervision,and hinders the healthy development of the catering service industry.Strengthening the prevention of food safety accidents in catering services and improving the level of government supervision are of great significance to maintaining social stability and ensuring people’s well-being.Based on the definition of relevant concepts in the field of food safety supervision in catering service,this paper analyzes the current situation,problems and causes of food safety supervision in Qingdao P city by using the collaborative governance theory,multiple governance theory,information asymmetry theory,literature research,case analysis,investigation interview,questionnaire survey and other research methods.On this basis,this paper analyzes the causes of the problems from the aspects of supervision ability,supervision law enforcement responsibility,food safety supervision coordination mechanism,catering service staff management training and social supervision force.Based on the typical experience of food safety supervision in catering service and the actual situation of food safety supervision in P city of Qingdao City,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the optimization of food safety supervision in catering service.There are two innovations in this paper.First,this paper analyzes the government function in the food safety supervision of catering service theoretically,combs the decentralized provisions of the government function and responsibility in the laws of relevant provinces and cities,and discusses the functions and responsibilities of the county-level government in detail.Secondly,from the perspective of public management,this paper puts forward feasible countermeasures and suggestions to the supervision of food safety in catering service with public product attribute.
