| The global spread of COVID-19 in 2020 has caused a devastating blow to the global industrial chain supply chain that has already experienced the severe damage of the economic crisis,and it is almost broken.Against this background,General Secretary Xi Jinping promotes domestic and international dual circulation strategy which needs to make use of the potential of domestic demand to make better use of two markets,two resources to achieve a more robust and sustainable development so as to balance the development of the domestic economy and the sustainability of foreign trade and help Chinese industrial chain and supply chain enterprises recover.For domestic supply chain enterprises,how to seize the dual-cycle opportunity and make good use of both domestic and international markets has become the most critical issue.As the leader of domestic supply chain service providers,Xiangyu Group is actively exploring the domestic and international dual-cycle layout.Xiangyu Group is a wholly state-owned enterprise in Xiamen.It was established in 1995.After 25 years of development,it has more than 300 investment holding companies and 10,000 employees.It has successfully transformed from a development and operation enterprise in Xiamen Xiangyu Free Trade Zone at the beginning of its establishment to Comprehensive state-owned capital investment group.Since its establishment,Xiangyu Group has taken serving the national strategy and developing the regional economy as its own responsibility,with the business tenet of "based on the supply chain and serving the industrial chain",adhering to the concept of value creation and benefit sharing,and has built products that include agricultural products,metal minerals and energy."3+X" bulk commodities such as chemicals,as well as comprehensive services in the supply chain of cross-border import and export of livelihood commodities,continue to improve core resource capabilities such as supply chain logistics services,and form a strong position in the industry and the right to speak in the industry chain.Based on the resource-based view and the whole industry chain strategy,this article focuses on the analysis of the domestic and international dual-cycle layout of Xiangyu Group.In the domestic cycle,Xiangyu Group has established a full-chain service model for the industry,which mainly includes building a comprehensive service model for the grain supply chain,creating efficiency and enabling the creation of a ferrous metal industry chain,and relying on logistics advantages to optimize the energy and chemical industry chain.Its domestic large-scale circulation layout is inseparable from the provision of new kinetic energy by smart logistics.In the international cycle,on the one hand,Xiangyu Group focuses on building different routes of China-Europe Express trains around the “Belt and Road”;Find the best sales market.This article selects 18 countries in the East Asia and Southeast Asia regions of the “One Belt and One Road” for cluster analysis.Taking stainless steel market demand,market convenience and logistics performance index as indicators,the 18 countries are divided into three different markets.According to different market characteristics,three strategic suggestions are put forward.For the first type of consumer market,it is possible to invest and build factories in Indonesia,and radiate transportation and sales to other markets,at the same time,Xiangyu Group can use this as an opportunity to deploy its international overseas logistics network.;for the second type of consumer market,choose a high-end export strategy,and use high-end stainless steel product lines as the main sales variety to open the market;the third type In the consumer market,while selling a small amount of stainless steel,it is possible to adopt an agreement to exchange resources,cultivate the consumption potential of infrastructure construction,and obtain profits.According to the layout of these three types of consumer markets,we will create a regional cooperation circle and economic circle in East Asia and Southeast Asia with China as the core,and give full play to China’s role in resource allocation to provide new momentum for China’s economic growth.Although COVID-19 has slowed down the pace of economic development,technological progress,the proposal of dual-cycle policy and the establishment of regional organizations have provided a steady stream of power for supply chain enterprises,and continuously enhanced the core competitiveness of them.Domestic supply chain enterprises can learn from Xiangyu Group’s use of cluster innovation to integrate upstream and downstream resources of the whole industry chain to carry out the strategic layout of the whole industry chain,and flexibly create a large domestic cycle;they can use their accumulated resources and platform advantages to participate in the "Belt and Road" China-Europe class Column construction.If they have the ability,they can take investment holding and other methods to obtain resources in areas with rich overseas resource endowments,reduce costs,and optimize the layout of the international cycle. |
