In recent years,excessive competition in industries promotes organizations to reduce employment,resulting in growing employment pressure in China.Particularly,the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is likely to create further employment pressure in China.The government’s policy indicates that entrepreneurship would be an important means to increase employment opportunities,raise more employment demands and stabilize the job market in the future.Therefore,the importance of entrepreneurship has been increasingly strengthened,and relevant literature has emerged in an endless stream.In the increasingly fierce market competition,new companies founded by entrepreneurs are often faced with the problem of adapting to the changing environment and planning for the future,which requires good self-regulation ability.Doing a good job of self-management and keeping oneself in a positive mood is an important method to avoid enterprise failure and the most important link in the process of entrepreneurship.For entrepreneurs,good self-regulation can maintain the original,don’t forget to entrepreneurial motivation,make reasonable expectations for the future and make a change,for your business enterprise to produce the sense of responsibility and sense of identity,strength the commitments,relieve stress and anxiety caused by the changing and,improve entrepreneurs’ well-beings.According to self-regulation theory,we explore the relation between entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial well-beings.We developed a moderated mediation model of the entrepreneurial commitment linking entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial well-beings.Using a sample of 209 entrepreneurs in different industries,we found that entrepreneurial motivation was positively related to entrepreneurial well-beings,and that this relationship was mediated by entrepreneurial commitment.We further found that the effect of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial commitment was contingent on perceived entrepreneurial process.Finally,theoretical and practical implications were discussed for entrepreneurs to take appropriate self-management measures.
