Research On The Impact Of The New Land-sea Channel In The West On The Coordinated Development Of Industries In Guangxi And Chongqing

Deeply implementing the regional coordinated development strategy is an important way for the western region to accelerate the realization of high-quality economic development.As one of the major national development strategies,the Western Land Sea New Channel provides new opportunities for industrial synergy between Guangxi and Chongqing.This article is based on the theories of channel economy,regional division of labor,and industrial synergy.It selects14 prefecture level cities in Guangxi and Chongqing as the research objects.From the perspective of industry,social network analysis is used to measure the intensity of industrial connections between 15 districts(cities)and calculate the possibility of industrial cooperation.Then,a composite system model is used to calculate the level of industrial synergy between various cities in Guangxi and Chongqing.Finally,the dual difference method and case study are used to analyze the impact of the Western Land Sea New Corridor on the industrial synergy between Guangxi and Chongqing.The results showed that the spatial correlation between various cities in Guangxi and Chongqing had obvious network structure characteristics.From2017 to 2020,the network density between Guangxi and Chongqing increased from 0.2524 to0.2714,and the number of network relationships increased from 53 to 57.The overall network density and number of network relationships showed a steady upward trend;From 2011 to 2020,the average level of industrial synergy between various cities in Guangxi and Chongqing increased from 0.0886 to 0.1593,with a growth rate of 79.80%.Among them,the industrial synergy of Nanning,Liuzhou,Wuzhou,Beihai,Fangchenggang,Guigang,Baise,Yulin,Hezhou,Hechi,Laibin,and Chongzuo in Guangxi has shown a growth trend with the industrial synergy of Chongqing,respectively.However,the level of industrial synergy between Guilin and Qinzhou and Chongqing has shown negative growth and has been at a low level of synergy throughout the research period,indicating that the level of manufacturing synergy in these cities is decreasing year by year,The degree of industrial correlation between cities is not high,and the level of collaboration is showing a downward trend,with great room for progress.The new land sea channel in the western region has a significant positive impact on regional industrial collaboration,and there is significant heterogeneity.Specifically,it has a promoting effect on the central cities in the network,while the effect on non central cities is not significant.Finally,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to strengthen the construction of the western land sea new channel,release the resource allocation effect,spillover effect,and agglomeration effect of the channel,play the promoting effect of the western land sea new channel on industrial synergy,and further improve the level of industrial synergy between Guangxi and Chongqing.
