In the ever-changing financial market,commercial banks seize the market through various financial products and obtain effective value customers to maximize shareholders’ interests.However,the homogenization of all kinds of financial products in the banking industry is serious,which makes the competition in the banking industry enter the white-hot stage.Therefore,many commercial banks play the slogan of"efficiency from management",and the competition of commercial banks has changed from the competition of market products to the competition of management methods and management systems.Therefore,performance management highlights its important management value in the competition of commercial banks.All commercial banks regard performance management system as the top priority in their internal management system.There has been a general consensus in the banking industry that only by improving the level and ability of performance management,adhering to the performance management as the baton of banking business development,and fully stimulating the vitality of the staff,can the competitive advantages of commercial banks be continuously expanded and the management system and management methods be guaranteed for the sustainable and stable development of the banking industry.The research object of this paper is the performance management of H Bank N branch.Through in-depth analysis of the performance management status of H Bank N Branch,problems existing in the performance management of N Branch are found at the level of system construction,employee cognition and organizational structure,and the causes of the current problems at all levels of the performance management of H Bank N Branch are found by means of investigation and interview.Then,using theories such as PDCA cycle,it reshapes the performance management process of H Bank N Branch,defines the specific responsibilities of each management line,and uses OKR method to propose specific optimization measures and implementation guarantee schemes for the performance planning link,performance control link,performance appraisal link,performance communication feedback link and performance result application link of H Bank N Branch.
